The rooms were dated. Broken bathroom door, stains on the carpets. Key issues that required multiple trips to front desk to get corrected. No one cared about any of the problems. Will not stay at tropicana again.

None of the restaurants were open that we wanted to go to when we were there Monday through Friday. The room in the Chelsea Tower was disgusting. They were stains on the bed skirt and you could see the layer of dust on the carpet because the carpet was brown the entire hallway and floor where we stayed in the Chelsea Tower smelled like marijuana. We asked to change our room to the Havana Tower because it was so dirty. We called the bellhop to see if we could get assistance with our bags while moving because my mother is disabled. The bellhop literally said Welp were kind of busy better off lugging it yourself. There was no assistance or service and the physical space was very beat up unkept and dirty.

My stay at this hotel overall was good. The hotel has so many restaurants (Wild Honey Smokehouse & Tavern half chicken was dried out, steak too), things to do inside of it, including a night life, and also the beach within walking distance. What I did not like is the lack of cleanliness of the rooms, even the hallway had dust collecting in the corners. Our room on the 36th floor had a dusty table, windowsill, nightstand and phone. Everything we planned on touching had to be sanitized by us. They provide coffee in the room, but the pot was disgusting, and it sits under what looks like a 24 inch tv which was extremely dusty underneath and behind it. The water was nice and hot but water pressure not good in shower and in sink. Found hair on the toilet upon arrival to room, (took pic). It was extremely cold in room, did not figure out how to turn it down until we went to family's other room on 39th floor where their temperature control panel was visible, ours was hidden. Staff very accommodating when it came to asking for towels but there was language barrier with the 3 people I encountered, I asked for extra blankets, they did not know where to get them. There should be a number guide in the room so we know who to call for any issues. Ice machine was broken on our floor. Parts of hotel need remodeling. The elevators take forever and are packed during the time people are checking in or out, avoid these times. Better directions from parking to your section of hotel.

My family and i stood at tropicana for the weekend. Upon arrival everything seem nice then we checked in and It took us an hour and a 1/2 to find our room, staff just sent us our way with no form of direction..we were back and forth going up and down elevators until we finally got on the right elevator. To get to the rooms at the chelsea towers you need to take about 3 different elevators and ontop of that there were 2 elevators that were not working! We had to take the stairs plenty of times with a wagon stroller and stroller after waiting over 20 mins for the elevators numerous of times throughout our stay. The stairs were scary, filthy and smelled like pee! The hotel doesn't seem safe at all anyone can walk in and go up to the rooms.. Not once did i see a security guard asked me for proof to go up to the rooms like other hotels ive stayed at do. The room was nice but could be cleaned better. My family and i stayed at many different hotels here at ac and this was the worst experience by far. Oh and the family pool was closed and it said it was open on the website. To eat at the restaurants or go to the adult pool you need to have reservations or wont be able to go in unlesss there's space. The ac wasnt working in one of the rooms we got and house keeping wont come to your room unless you call them to.

I liked the ease of signing in when checking in. I did not like that you have to pay extra to park. As a guest it should be free. The room I was not happy with. There was no hand soap, the hair dryer did not work, the tub and sink took forever to drain. The room was really was not clean. The bed was very comfortable. I had to rent beach chairs, an umbrella since hotel doesnt provide anytbing for guests. The little overlooked details are what can make or break a better experience. Oh yea there is no room service like advertised.

I did extensive research when booking Tropicana. I read reviews and went on TikTok and Twitter to read the bad and good. Hotel stay was great. I booked the Havana tower. I heard the other towers are bad. While on the elevator someone mentioned requesting a new room due to the quality of another tower. I personally had no issues with my room or the hotel in general. I will say it sucked that the power went out on one side for the elevator so it’s like 300 ppl using 2 elevators the longest wait was 3-4 minutes which is fair. You can’t control the weather and when maintenance came by the elevator was fixed again. I will be back. The food at the Wild Honey is a 10/10. Perfect.

I will start off by saying that we did have fun on our trip and made the most of it, but I was highly disappointed with a few things. The air conditioning in our room was barely working and the room felt muggy. We called the front desk and were put on hold for almost an hour. They finally said they would send someone up to our room. Maintenance showed up about and hour after that and worked on the ac. He was able to get it a few degrees cooler but not much. The walls are thin and you can hear people in the hall and in the rooms next to you. Woke up each morning to some sort of banging! Annoying! The last thing was the elevators in the west tower. We had to wait almost an hour just to get on the elevator. It seems only 2 out of the 4 are working. Each time an elevator would come it would be full and we would have to wait for the next, only to have that one full. I have never stayed at a resort and had this problem EVER! Really need to make sure all the elevators are working. What an inconvenience and waste of mine and others time! I expected more staying here! My next trip to Atlantic City I will be definitely staying somewhere else! With all of that a few positivities. I loved the casino floor and all the options to eat. My favorite was PF changs. I would come back to property for the food and casino just not to stay on this property.
