Great location and a very nice condo community with just a few downsides
The condo looks as advertised. Clean and comfy, right on the bay. Gated community. Excellent location. Easy access to the good stuff in Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, just a few minutes to the Beach express up to Foley. Coffee pot in kitchen could not be used, owners immediately delivered another one. The reason I took a star off and made it a 4 and not a 5 is two things. Based on my experience staying there for a full month. First, this is a bottom floor condo (I was aware of that) but the occupant on the floor above stomps around a lot and its very loud - and it can get very annoying. stomp stomp stomp. stomp stomp stomp. The person has heavy steps that are loud and seems at times to be doing laps upstairs. Very annoying at 6AM or 11:30 PM if you are trying to sleep. Pushing some kind of chairs around, sounds like nails on a chalkboard down below. Its not constant but when its happening for an extended period, its super annoying. If that kind of things bothers you, just be aware. Not the owners fault they can't control it. The second thing was roaches in the bathroom and the kitchen. Its a common problem down south, but still its gross. Aside from those two aspects I enjoyed the comfort and the location, and I feel the owners pics and description were accurate.
