We loved our stay at Bonnie Doon. It's close to the beautiful trails in the Tongariro National Park, and Tūrangi is a short drive to get petrol and food. The kitchen and bathroom is modern and fully equipped to cook and do laundry; our expectations were exceeded.

We arrived and the house wasn't cleaned from the previous guests. This was quickly resolved once the manager was able to be contacted. But the overall cleanliness of the property was poor, considering the 140 cleaning fee. So many spiders and bugs I had to go around and sweep the ceilings and walls ...
