Locked In

We were in town celebrating my childs birthday and stayed here. When we arrived we got checked in, went up to our room on the 4th floor. Once inside we put our suitcase down and turned around to leave out the room only to realize our door had locked from the inside. I contacted front desk who came up and attempted to unlock the door from the outside. They stated that this has happened before and they would have to contact maintenance. Two gentlemen came and rescued us and we were moved to a different room. after that whole ordeal, we had to cancel her bday dinner and missed more than 1/2 the Thunder game which was one of her gifts as well. I hate leaving bad reviews but no one at the hotel seemed to be bothered other than us. As someone who has anxiety, this was not the adventure we were looking for. Very disappointing.
