Charming and Nostalgic

4 day stay. We LOVE this hotel. It's our 2nd time staying here. It's out of the way and convenient location at the same time. While the breakfast isn't as good as it use to be, it's sufficient with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, bagels and muffins with juice and coffee. I wish there were fresh fruit options and bacon! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. While this hotel is dated, it has so much charm and nostalgia. It's definitely alive and beautiful and charming. The plants make the atrium so lovely. I love having a clean working hot tub. I wish it were a bit warmer but kids use it too so I understand. The showers have very hot water! The grounds are kept very well. Thank you for a lovely stay! See you soon!

Overpriced for physical condition of the room. Paint falling off the ceiling unclean toilets mismatched paint poor caulking jobs cracks in walls and ceiling etc. multiple things that need repaired if they are going to charge almost 200 per night. Front desk clerk/manager/owner (not sure what he was as he did not introduce himself) is severely lacking in customer service skills. I would recommend additional 40 hr training or more.
