Thanksgiving holiday

Came to Delaware to visit relatives who live very near Bear Trap Dunes Gold Club. The condo was clean and provided all that was necessary for us to have space of our own during our holiday. The only issue was finding the place - google maps gave us 2 different results, and neither was correct. It took a little walking around to find the correct building and location within the building.

Pleasant stay but some issues

For the most part satisfied with our stay here but property needs some attention. Lots of stains on the carpeting throughout the condo, cable didn't work in great room only Roku and called customer service about it and they were going to send someone but they never showed up. TV's in second bedroom and loft weren't working, loft due to no remote. Kitchen issues with no handle on microwave and lights working above stove and over light on range was out of balance. Lots of noise early morning from all the golf course maintenance activities. Screened in porch was nice and for the most part placed was pretty clean and well appointed and decorated well. Heating system didn't work well in great room and tried to use gas fireplace which didn't work. Also, never found the "electric grill" listed in the listing. Probably won't stay here again.

Great location, could use updating

This place is right outside of the pool area, which was GREAT! However, there were stains on the carpet, the carpet was not very clean upon our arrival (dirt/hair on the floor), the microwave handle was coming off, the washer machine sounded like a rocket going off, the stove rocked back and forth and there were no curtains in any of the bedrooms. We had a few additional issues while we were there, but they sent a very efficient maintenance guy to help with what he could.

Never use Vacasa

Never ever, Never ever, Never ever stay in a home managed by Vacasa. I feel sorry for the property owners. It’s a nice place, well equipped and a good location but it’s just not worth it to deal with Vacasa.

Great Escape

My family loves Bear Trap. It’s a lovely community and a great place to walk, ride bikes and enjoy the pool. We have been other places but we keep coming back to Bear Trap.

Thanksgiving in Bethany

This unit is light filled and very comfortable. It's in a great location in the front area of the development. Loved that we could take our fur baby along. The doggie toys were a great welcome as well. We would stay there again.

Maintenance and cleaning were lacking

The overall property was great as we always got to this community. We were glad to get a pet friendly property. We were put off by the previous pet stains left in the carpet. With that there were various lights where the bulbs were burned out and not replaced. In one lamp there was no light bulb at all. We had to go purchase our lightbulbs so we had light the first night. In addition we had used VACASA and this may be the only time. They do not give you the option of cancelling in advance if need be. All the money was required up front. I cannot say their customer service was all that friendly. I felt like an inconvenience when I called to state our situation. Overall we love the community we stayed in and the property was nice and adequate but I will try to avoid this renter again.

Bear Trap Stay

We really loved the property. The only thing we weren't happy with is tons of flies in the unit and there were no fly swatters. My husband had to go out and buy some. We also left them there for the next renters. Other than that we really loved the place.

Beautiful condo and area!

This condo is beautiful and so is the community. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because the kitchen wasn't as well equipped for cooking as other places we've stayed. It has a lot of specialty items but needs more foundational pieces added. Other than that the condo itself is beautiful, clean, and would stay again in a minute.

Great neighborhood

Property allows dogs, place was clean and well kept, neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It was a bit hard to find this property given that there are other 1 Clubhouse Drives. This particular property is located at the intersection of Clubhouse Drive and Willow Oak ave. Filtered water from fridge tasted fine and although there is no reserved parking, there were plenty of parking spaces available. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court basketball court, and a playground. But you need to purchase a pass per person to use these.

Great condo with all amenities. Very comfortable furnitures and fully equipped kitchen. Quick drive to grocery store, restaurants and beach area. Wish we would have known outdoor pools and playground are not open before memorial weekend though.
