Resort stay but unable to take advantage of it
I came to the location to spend time with Mom. This was first time in over 30 years of her being retired here in the area.
The place is great, I wish I had the opportunity to take advantage of its amenities instead I got the preoccupation of caring for mom and both she and I got sick while there. Ugh.
That being said, it’s a nice cool vibe which invites you to take away your daily stresses. Pool, fitness center, locker room with sauna/steam and my unit while inside (meaning no ocean view) was lovely for the price.
My only complaint was getting in and out of there. My parking spot was not clearly designated (as in repaint the number in the garage) and the silver car parked next to me made it difficult to get into the spot as the owner clearly never left (forget the parking spot if you have a SUV) the other side of the spot was a cement pole. Get my drift?
Beyond that, if you’re used to staying at places like this then you know you have to park in a welcoming driveway where the concierge brings you to a cabinets which he has to unlock and you find your designated lock box, once putting in the code, you have to find a way to bring your belongings up to (in my case the 3rd Fl) with a small tip I negotiated a hotel trolley like thing for my stuff to be brought up to rental my self in tow. Afterwards, this extremely nice gentleman showed me where my unclear label parking spot was located relative to the rental. I could go on but #’ed characters
