Vito was dishonest and unprofessional. The night before dealing with him, we discovered our room lacked washcloths, cups, and all bathroom amenities—and the phone didn’t work to call the front desk. At 5am, I went down to report it. The lady gave excuses like delayed deliveries and forgetful housekeepers noting "there are 760 rooms, things happen." Eventually, she brought me 2 washcloths (I needed 3), cups, and a few toiletries. Later, I approached the desk where Vito was casually chatting with the concierge. He saw and ignored me until it suited him. I politely asked him to check if our phone had been repaired—I wanted to be sure before going back upstairs to avoid coming down again or being disturbed during my nap. He casually said, “If you put it in, it’ll get done.” After typing some things and walking to the back, he claimed it was fixed. It wasn’t. I returned and asked a bellman for a manager. She was great and sent an engineer immediately. By the time I got back to the room, he was finishing repairing our A/C. Smh. He then fixed the phone. Later that night, after our Broadway show, I stopped at the desk to confirm my late checkout request. The woman was pleasant—until she opened my profile. Her tone shifted sharply after reading the notes I believe dishonest Vito wrote about me. Instead of helping, she told me I could speak to a manager at 7am. Totally strange. If not for the manager, Carolyn, Emmanuel, and Alvin, I would've left very disappointed in my experiences.

The lobby is huge and they have a bar/food area to sit. When we arrived our room with 2 queen beds was "unavailable". They tried to put us in 2 full size beds. I said no we paid for queen sizes! They finally let us get 2 king beds for one night. But we had to pack up and move the next day which limited what we could do bc we had to check out and could not check back in until 4pm! I've never had a hotel do this before! The front desk wasn't warm and fuzzy but most NYer's aren't so I just treated them as they treated us. After that things were fine and the cleaning staff was very nice and helpful if we needed more supplies. The hotel is a really good location! Based on the hotels around us, it seemed like the best option. The lobby always smelled amazing and there is always someone to help if you needed a ride or directions somewhere. In addition to the bar they also had a small place to get on the go food but it closes at 6pm. All in all I'd pick this hotel again!

We booked a double queen room and when I saw the beds I knew they weren’t queen sized so I asked the hotel and he just told me they’re “small queens” but they were the same dimensions as a double bed when I measured.

I like a lot the location it was in a great place to go to the museum an other atractions. The front desk and other staff was very nice persons and always looks to help. The room was nice but was little small and prepare for the noise. The room also need a chair or a little table, the air conditioning was not working as suppose to and the bath area need some improvement. TV does not have a lot of programs to choose. It was good because of the location, personnel in the door and the clean was excellent.

At arrival Property wanted to charge EXTRA AMOUNT, and we already paid 100% to EXPEDIA...also room smelled tobacco and bathroom wasnt cleaned and smelled like urine. Worst of all, personnel very hostile...it took them a while to act, and finally they changed us to another room. I do understand a security deposit for incidentals, but checkout answer, we said we are decent people we do not come to NY to destroy things...the lady at the fron desk answer "We dont know yet" ...wooow that was th answer to two women over 60 years!!!

No mini bar , no water , no slippers . No robe , no towels . Asked for towels at 11:30 pm called 5 times to receive them at 1:45 am . Got over changed by $450 dollors . Still waiting for refund ! Have receipts for one night that I stayed . Should have been changed thru Expedia and 45 resort fee at hotel . Was changed $619.66 for one night !

This hotel was very nice and in an amazing location! It was clean and had nice amenities on site. We were surprised that they do not offer wash clothes unless specifically asked for to the house keeping staff directly during cleaning hours. They also do not provide any type of glassware or even plastic cups in each room. We had to go to the restaurant multiple times for cups. Otherwise, we would stay here again. Lovely hotel overall!!

The hotel had no record of my reservation, even after I showed them confirmations from Hotels.com. They called but couldn't resolve the problem. Fortunately, they had rooms available so they sold me a room as a walk in. It took an unacceptably long time. Then, they mistyped my name, which caused problems signing up for wifi. It was a bad experience. They took no ownership of it and thoughtvthey did a great job trying to help me.
