I would recommend staying somewhere else. We have been lifelong customers of Holiday Inn Express and this one wasn’t the same. It felt rundown, every single element from the room to the elevators. However, my biggest complaint is that we had to leave suddenly for an emergency and were told we had to pay for one night, however they were going to refund one night. After getting home, they took it back and refused the refund. So unprofessional and disappointing.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The breakfast was very poor. The food lacked flavor and variety, and everything tasted bland. It felt more like a requirement to offer breakfast than an effort to provide a good experience for guests. The customer service was disappointing. Staff did not seem attentive or proactive when issues were reported. The most frustrating part was the housekeeping service. We requested a refill of the body wash, were told it would be sent, and waited over an hour with no response. In the end, I had to go down to the lobby ourselves to get the soap, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. The location is good, but service quality and basic guest care need serious improvement.

The AC unit fan sounded like chirping birds, the sink drain was busted, but other than that, standard hotel things. It sucks that there are no refrigerators in the room though. Breakfast was meh and so crowded after 7:30. The second room to eat in was also freeeeeeezing cold and unpleasant to sit in. Staff was great. Area felt safe. I’d stay here again.

Great location small room but efficient. Quiet. No line for elevators. Breakfast area not unusually crowded, always found a spot to sit. Breakfast fare good enough to fuel a busy day walking around NYC. Overall- a great experience-would stay here again- really nice and helpful staff should add!
