This is a Budget Hotel

Let me repeat, this is a BUDGET HOTEL. One of the few left in New York City, and I am really mystified about where these reviews come from. There is no way this property could honestly be rated a 10/10, unless the customer lives in a refrigerator box. Conversely, comments like “stay away,” complaints about staff “rudeness” and “worst of worst,” are simply ridiculous. My room was clean, safe and exceptionally convenient. Yes, the property is shabby and I caught sight of a few ne’er-do-wells, but good grief this is New York, and furthermore these rooms go for much less than your average in the City. Chill people. Have some nice food from the neighborhood and you’ll feel better.
