I always wanted to stay at this hotel and I was not disappointed. The rooms are beautifully refurbished and comfortable. The staff was super helpful. And the feeling in the lobby can't be beat. Loved it.

Rooms and hotel were nice, but overall the place fell a little short of expectations. Negative points during our stay were the broken wi-fi, the TV's on-screen guide was reminiscent of the early 1990's with a slowly scrolling screen that shows a few channels at a time, and the instant "stir grounds into hot water" coffee was awful. Jaimee at the front desk was the best part of our stay. She was pleasant, friendly, very helpful, and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Very happy with my stay here! The staff was super friendly, the coffee shop on property had the most deeeelicious latte that I had throughout my entire trip! Love how the whole property is decorated as well. Very charming!

The bar downstairs is so fun, and their pizza night provided us with the best pizza in New Haven (better than the famous spots we all know). The bartenders made our trip, and showed us the warmth of the people of New Haven. Do not skip the bar! Even if you do not drink, the games are great and the food is even better.
Weekly pizza night menu. The Max was fantastic!

Wish we had planned to stay more than 1 night!

Such a lovely, fun hotel! Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The lobby was gorgeous - a great place to settle in with delicious beverage from the coffee shop and a good book. I also enjoyed all of the historic character they kept from when it was the Hotel Duncan. I just loved everything about it.

Really creative and thoughtful design with themed tiles, artwork, etc. makes this hotel a lot of fun as well as convenient and comfortable. The high ceilings, large bathroom for a old (remodeled) buildings, and other nice touches were pleasant surprises. It's very close to Yale and plenty of restaurants.
