"We chose the room with fireplace and 2 extra suites but only the 2 of us! But I thought the front view would be better but I’d prefer not such a noisy street below since apparently “dually” large jacked up trucks are a thing- and very loud all night lol. But honestly, so clean, such a sweet guest service at check in/out and the restaurant inside, the filet was perfect! Really enjoyed the experience for our first wedding anniversary as every antique photo in our room was of marriage certificates and wedding photos! Highly recommend!"

"Our innkeeper Joy was very pleasant. The Clubhouse room we had was a little musty, with no view, but the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. I booked it on Hotels.com. The mansion is beautiful inside, but the landscaping could use weeding and tree trimming. We had to leave very early at 6:30 am for a flight the next morning, but no grab n go breakfast like muffins or coffee was offered. Since other guests would get a full breakfast with their room, as long as they were there at 8:00 am, we felt a little cheated. Joy did not offer coffee even though she was awake when we left. I would recommend staying here, but get a room with a view and get your breakfast!"
