"A gorgeous, quiet, very small hotel in an old palace just off one of the main Lucca streets. We had a large twin room with a lot of character and a good bathroom. The ladies who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent with home made yoghurt and cakes. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. We highly recommend this memorable and delightful hotel. For people with limited mobility there is limited parking and not to the door, There is a flight of stairs and a heavy door up to the hotel. There was a small amount of noise one night but generally very quiet and right in the centre of all the sights, restaurants & shops. "

"I thought that the spa offering was both unique and a nice vip offering. I said no to the offering prior as I did not get an up graded room. I did request a different room because of the steps and we had told them before that we could not lug the luggage up more steps. They did move us to an end room but it was not any different than the one we had aside from the no steps needed to enter the room from the hall. "
