"It is a lovely property. Well manicured, plenty of places to sit outdoors. There were three sunrooms/porches where you could sit and read or enjoy the continental breakfast. The rooms were beautifulky decorated and each had a private bath. In the evenings, there was a happy hour in the back parlor. Unique beers and wines were available. A charcuterie board from a local cheese shop was also available for snacking. The hosts, John and Amy, mingled with guests, sharing stories and the history of the house. They made us feel at home and welcome. We plan to return again."

"We chose the cottage to celebrate our 50th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It’s just right for relaxing or strolling around the neighborhood. Great restaurants are only three blocks away and the waterfront is a terrific place to spend an afternoon! Bring your bikes and take a tour of the historic city of Southport. Traffic is not a problem and you can cover the entire area in a couple of hours. Kelly is very accommodating and even let us check in a little early. We will be going back!"
