"My husband and I really enjoyed staying here on a little fall break trip. The place was spotlessly clean and well stocked, and the hosts are very kind and were quick to make sure our stay was as perfect as it could be. This VRBO has gorgeous views, a well stocked kitchen, nice water pressure with toasty warm water, a cozy wood stove that heats the whole house nicely, and all the basic essentials that you need on a trip. We had fun playing a few rounds on the pool table too! We loved the fact that this place is remote and secluded, it felt like our own little slice of heaven for a few days. Very peaceful and quiet. Just keep in mind the nearest town is 30-45 minutes away, and you will drive 7 miles of very well maintained gravel roads to reach the VRBO. We did just fine on the roads in October in our Ford Fusion. We enjoyed waking around the property with our dog, and hiking in the Wet mountains is a short drive away. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone! "

"One of the most beautiful settings we have ever visited! Beautifully furnished, open plan cabin is truly magical and welcoming. You can wander up to a world class hiking trail from the back deck. Quiet and remote setting with the promised dark sky at night. Sunrise is spectacular! Home is as described."

"We had a wonderful stay over the weekend while exploring the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. The cabin’s location was perfect, just minutes from the trailheads and only a short 10–15 minute drive into town.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything seamless.The cabin itself was spotless and so well-stocked. It had everything we needed: TV, internet, music, and a fully equipped kitchen, which made it feel like home right away.If we plan another trip to the Sangre de Cristo area, we’d be delighted to stay here again.Thank you for such a great experience!"

"This amazing log home is a dream mountain getaway! Completely surrounded by beautiful aspen and pine trees, it’s incredibly quiet and relaxing. Being there in later September meant the aspens were changing colors and were more vibrant each morning. The only sounds you’ll hear are the rustling leaves and the babbling creek.Every side of the wraparound deck offers a different view with comfortable Adirondack chairs, porch swings and picnic tables that are perfectly placed. We were also greeted by momma deer and her two babies that came through the property one evening and several other deer wandered through during our stay.The star gazing was absolutely incredible! From both the wraparound deck and the nearby Summit Park in town, we observed the most amazing night sky including the Milky Way!This was also the cleanest Vrbo we’ve ever stayed in by a long shot. The entie house was spotless and the kitchen was pristine and stocked with all the appliances and cookware you could want. From amenities to décor, Vanessa and Shawn have truly thought of everything. It feels like a home away from home."
