"Firstly have to say our host. Mary was absolutely superb in supplying all of the information prior to our visit, ensuring a smooth transition from the airport to the chalet. There were six of us, we hired a minibus and drove ourselves from the airport, following the direction supplied by Mary, and found the Chalet quite easily, set in a wooded area. It is in a quiet location off the main road but that was perfect for us as we were aiming to be self catering. The chalet was ample sized for our family, warm and cosy with the added bonus of a log fire. Two shower rooms and a further separate WC meant that no one was hanging around waiting. Beds were clean and comfy, including a double sofa bed. Mary responded to all my messages quickly with loads of extra information about the resort including recommendations for restaurants, shops and ski hire. We hired our ski gear from Steve's ski school rentals, who also gave us a great discount for group booking. We did a weekly shop at the supermarkets in Smolyon, about half hour drive. For lunch we stopped at ski centre 2, eating at Alex's pub, great service , lovely food and price...another recommendation from out host!I'd definitely recommend the chalet if you're looking for something for a family and you have access to a vehicle, was absolutely perfect for us and Pamporovo although small was perfect for beginners. We saw deer in the nearby woods and on the slopes. Winter or Summer I imagine this place is magical. Thank you Mary!"

"The hotel wasn’t acting like a 5* hotel. The facilities are good but the staff was extremely rude and incompetent. We were welcomed with no toilet paper in our room (like none) and no hair conditioner. The biggest shock for me was the receptionist who supposed to receive a package which I phoned earlier about and it was rejected 3 times with no phone call to me. I was advised to pay a taxi from Smolyan (€20) to return it back to the hotel. We also tried to order from reception cutlery to our room, they send us to the restaurant and the restaurant send us back to reception so no one actually was bothered to do that. I would never pay again for 5* hotel that doesn’t provide 5* services. Not worth the money "
