We had a great stay. Walking to great restaurants like the Goddess Goods and Frankie and Lola’s was perfect. We thought it a bit strange that they would not let us have one extra towel citing theft. What hotel/motel won’t give an extra towel? The man who manages the cleaning staff in the morning is a gem!!!

I loved Blufftop Inn- the front desk staff gave me excellent dining recommendation. The room was small but perfectly appointed- updated, super cute, clean. I could walk down to waterfront, shops, dining easily. Would definitely stay again.

The room was clean, and bright. It’s the concept of a motel, sold as a hotel. Not even a reception area. The front desk clerk at check in, for every question was a charge. One one hour late check out $25, this is lack of customer service, also, ask for a king size, and it was $40 more. This is nickleing and dimming for a motel charging you almost $180 per night, when the hotel was not full. I never left a negative reviews on Expedia, but this one needs to be done.

convenient location

A nice spot and very convenient to walk down to the strip on Morro Bay, close to all the restaurants & “the rock”. Only downside is the walls are a little thin, so I could hear the folks next door through them - but it was manageable. Room was clean, updated, etc etc. Overall a very positive experience staying there.

The room was small but super cute and comfy. It was in walking distance of a lot of options to eat and shop and to do water activities as well. The check-in was quick and check-out was no hassle. The only thing was that the body was and shampoo was fixed in the wrong places and I couldn’t change them but it’s not something terrible because I didn’t let them know also the people for house cleaning still knocked on our door even though we had the do not disturb sign out but I don’t think that’s terrible because I assume they just wanted to make sure we were good and didn’t need anything other than that I can’t really complain too much. This place was really good.

Clean and comfortable stay

I was debating between the BW opposite this place and so glad i chose Blufftop Inn. The rooms have been renovated. They are modern, and very functional. Loved the lighting, the extended counter tops for space and the bathroom. New and cool fixtures and a very calm, beachy vibe. The only issue we had was with the AC which someone didnt seem to cool the room and it felt a little bit hot during the night. Location is fantastic and you can walk to the pier and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. 5 stars and highly recommend.
