This is my new go-to hotel for Monterey. 15 minute walk to Fishermans Wharf, coffee in the lobby, easy parking, clean room, comfy bed, affordable, and a super friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay very much and will absolutely book this hotel again.

Yes room Was clean for the most part. We did notice some cobwebs above the tv, near the ceiling. So happy we had a refrigerator and a coffee machine, as well. Closet space and drawers in the room were perfect size too.

Staff was very genuine and kind. My only feedback would be that I did not enjoy the shower, there was always a puddle of water outside of the shower no matter how far from the shower door I tried to aim the shower head. I loved the calm area and parking was really easy. I stayed Monday-Thursday and didn’t have trouble finding a spot. I would also recommend calling ahead of making your reservation because the host at the lobby mentioned that they offer a fourth night for free when you book three.

The room was clean. The location was central and walkable, the price was amazing, parking was included, the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of things in the room were not working but I did not have time to wait for them to fix them because I had a busy schedule in the area.

We received a very warm and polite welcome from the receptionist. The room was very clean. Good sized shower. Air conditioning until was a little dated and noisy but it did the job. That would be the only criticism but balance that with what they charge for the room, you can’t expect to have the state of the art air conditioning. It’s a good motel that ticks all the boxes.

Had a great stay here. The staff was amazing and the rooms, although a bit outdated (except for newly remodeled bathrooms!) was very clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel was a little noisy and I could hear everything going on in the next room. Everything ....

Under circumstances out of my control I was not able to stay at the Stevenson 2 nights . I drove to Monterey to stay there 1 night . I explained the situation to them and you and neither one of cared . You still charged me for a night I didn’t stay at the Stevenson .
