Great place, but has particular rules
Impressed at first, but then things started to bother us. The water from the fridge stopped working after about a day and a half - we then were forced to buy water bottles. The internet cut out for an entire day, not a huge problem but we like having it. The TV service is poor, in fact the primary bedroom TV would cut to a black screen every 30 seconds, while watching. We planned on cooking often, since the home has a full kitchen. However, the stove-top is so outdated with uneven burners (dangerous), couldn't cook without burning the food. These things didn't affect our vacation too negatively.
Outside of the home was a different story, and will cause us to explore other homes for next time. 1. This home is the only house in the complex (possibly more) that forced you to walk your garbage 1/4mile to the complex dumpsters. All other homes provided trash service, you simply leave trash in can on driveway. 2. We called SEVERAL times to ask about having a golf cart, and we were told the community DID NOT ALLOW them. However, during our stay nearly 85% of the homes used golf carts (children driving too), yet WE couldn't? 3. Returning from our beach day, landscapers were trimming trees/shrubs/bushes and didn't stop as we approached.
My daughter was hit with tree limbs (we have pictures of the driveway mess that was left behind for a day). 4. Listing states it's a 'short walk to beach' or 2 blocks... It's about a 1/2 mile walk, while carrying coolers, bags, etc.
