This is our second visit to this property... we couldn't wait to return and it didnt disappoint.. go if you get the opportunity... it's quite remote but there are places to eat in the village and the castle/church/museum are definitely worth visiting

Hotel Alda Centro Palencia
Close to the cathedral. Relatively close to the (very inexpensive) municipal parking lot. Quiet location. The room could be improved with a mini fridge.

Hotel Monclús
When we first travelled in Spain 30 years ago, this was the typical hotel. Honest to goodness accommodation for travellers. It was fine. Comfortable and clean. Old fashioned but fine. Really good value. We left car in hotel garage as parking on street tricky. There is unloading space.
