"Great hotel sadly let down by over priced bar. €13.90 for a 500cl beer is sadly untenable. The staff were great and very helpful. Some attention to detail in housekeeping would be good. The amount of grit and dirt on the stairs was sadly noticeable. Great location."

Clean & spacious room with some traditional features, and despite no air conditioning in room, staff made every effort to cool room with fans during heatwave. All staff really helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking to stay in Laon, great location, central to cathedral, shops and amazing view points overlooking the vast French landscape from its hilltop position. Excellent food served in the hotel restaurant. The city is very picturesque, with lots of historical interest."
