Not good for children, major issues.
We were disappointed in this rental property. While the hosts were very communicative and friendly, we were less than impressed with the quality of the house. The second you walk in, it smells of cigarettes. The air conditioning only worked on the first floor, so at night while sleeping we were all very uncomfortable due to the heat. The water pressure is unacceptably low. If you flush the toilet, you cannot use any sink for at least 5-10 minutes. Even without flushing the toilets, the water only runs at a trickle. It was very difficult to bathe our child. The stairs to the second floor were very steep and treacherous, without no railing towards the foyer, making them dangerous for kids (and us, we each fell at least once down the stairs). We found marijuana under one of the dressers in the upstairs bedroom. Would not recommend this property until these issues have been addressed. We also did not feel very safe in the neighborhood, but I recognize this is outside of the owners’ control.
