The room was musty and wore out. The window had no screen in it so to open the window, the mayflies and other bugs would come in. There were stains on my sheets of which I texted the staff with no response back. I would never stay here again. The breakfast was good however it was a packed Saturday morning and they had one woman working the front desk and breakfast. This is poor management and they need to do better by her and the facilities. The pool was nice and big however, the chairs and tables around the pool were stained old and just felt dirty everywhere you went there.

The staff was friendly and sufficient. I wish we could of upgraded after our first night since we were there for 3 night's, before of a yippie dog. But, that was not on the staff. I would stay again.

We had a 2 bedroom suite entrance was in the smaller bedroom. That room needs a light fixture or lamp on a nightstand which also was not present. Telephone- we had to call front desk we heard them answer but they couldn't hear us talk and hung up on us causing us to have to go to the office.

Staff is very nice, absolutely great location and room is clean. It is quiet at night. Discounted ferry tickets were sold on front desk, don’t miss it if you plan to go to the Mackinac Island.

Complimentary breakfast was disgusting, had a tub of cream cheese and a container of jelly for everyone to use and just put back in the refrigerator instead of individual packets. The place looks great from the outside, but boy what a shocker when you enter your room. Honestly everything needs to be updated. Bathroom looked like it was from the 80’s. Carpet in rooms was disgusting. Again, it’s all just very outdated and was extremely disappointed in this place.

The individual that checked me in was not very pleasant. He seemed as if he didn't want to be there. The parking lot was very very tight to park your car in and it almost seemed as if there weren't enough spaces. The television didn't work so I just watched my phone. I fell asleep with the lights on and when I woke up in the morning the other bed had bugs on it that flew into the room because they were attracted by the lights. I'm not sure how they got in. Maybe the window was open however, I didn't open it. I would definitely not be staying here again. I will gladly pay more next time I'm in Mackinaw. Breakfast was very basic but edible.
