My family stayed here one night on our way to Yosemite. Our room was very comfortable with the 2 beds and 1 sofa bed. The bathroom was very well-equipped with hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, all Dove products. Our favorite was the provided breakfast which included a variety of oatmeal and cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, biscuits, sausage gravy, several bakery items and even a pancake maker which was the first time I'd ever seen that. It was pretty neat to have freshly made, perfect fluffy pancakes. There was also fresh fruit and a fridge with milk and yogurts and a juice dispenser with options for apple, orange, or cranberry juice. Two coffee machines are provided for 24hr use. My second time recently staying in a Holiday Inn Express and it won't be our last. Very great service and amenities.

Pleasant fairly new hotel with very spacious room, clean, microwave and fridge, comfortable bed, good quality bedding, great shower, and hot breakfast included. More towels should be provided, but that’s my only complaint.

The bed was great. That’s the only positive you’ll get from me. I selected this spot while in business travel because I enjoy a hot tub and/or swim after work and I also selected for the breakfast. The hot tub was closed and the receptionist kept promising it would be opened until another admitted it was closed all the time. The hot food at the breakfast was burned. The bakery goods were in one case stale and another case molded. I can book anywhere, but not here when visiting Merced

Our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to the highway. Breakfast was good with the exceptoon of the eggs, but plenty of other things available to eat instead.

Outside, the exterior looks very appealing and clean but inside tells a different story. Floors were dirty in the hallway on 3rd floor. They had to move me to another room because 1st room, the heater did not work. 2nd room, horrible showers and water did not drain down so you had to take a shower in a puddle. Overall, I would not recommend this place to stay. For the same cost or even lower price, I should have stayed at the Hampton inn instead but decided to give Holiday Inn a try. That was a mistake I made by giving them a try.
