The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. It is in a safe area and close to an underground station. There is also a taxi stand directly outside the hotel. Small tip to travelers - there is no air conditioning, but that is common for this area.

Room was fine, great view, however dated. The desk set up had very little space to accommodate clothing if you didn't want to live out of your suitcase. The large TV took up 90 percent of the surface space for your items. No outlets in the bathroom for hairdryer or flatiron. The tub/shower is a very high step in/out for the elderly or short, big fall hazard, needs to be just a shower. The plumming needs updated as this is the only toilet in all of England we had to "prime" to flush.by flushing once and the 2nd time it worked. I gave it a 4 star as they were updating the lo by and we saw other floors had been updated hoping the 2nd floor is coming soon. The location is perfect for the towr bridge, Tower of London and the tain station.

The breakfast was excellent and the location ideal. However, we had an issue with the AC. The thermostat would not come on. When we complained they claimed that the AC was central and not turned on yet for the season, but all other people travelling with us had AC in their rooms. They offered us a fan. Luckly, the temperature dropped and made it bearable.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. The view from our window was simply amazing. I would recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again. The restaurant was good with a great view of the bridge. Staff attentive and food was delicious.

Allocated room was part of a family room linked by a connecting door where we could hear the family next doors children stampeding about. A very helpful young man moved us but the room was not as nice, no coffee maker etc. The option of green room clean with a £7 voucher for food or drink was a complete con. The voucher couldn’t be redeemed until after 9pm that night. Not much good if you’re not a night owl.

This hotel is very pretty and can give you an amazing view of the Tower Bridge. For the price the rooms are slightly dated but it’s in a great location for hitting all the things you want to see. Months before arriving, I purchased the night before so we were ensured check-in, since we landed from the states early in the morning and could not wait until 3 PM to check-in. Upon arrival, I was told our room was not ready. I told the gentleman that we paid for the previous night. Luckily he was able to find the receipt, but said it was hidden. We wet up to our room to put our things away, and get settled in before going to explore this beautiful city to which we’ve never been. We tried turning on the lights, to find out none of the light switches were working. I figured there was a master switch so I made sure that was turned on, and non of the lights would turn on and our plug ins would not work. We called the reception desk, and they said they would send maintenance. We left for about 2 hours figuring that would be plenty of time. We returned, and it still was not fixed. So I went downstairs to let someone know, and a woman told me she would sent maintenance, though I was already told this. So I said okay, and we left again to explore for over 3-4 hours. Upon returning, nothing was fixed. We went back down to the receptionist and was told that maintenance went to fix it, but this was not true.
