Beautiful suite with views of the Tower Bridge, and Saint Catherine Docks. Tower Bridges steps from the hotel along with shopping Tower of London is only about 200 feet away. Area outside the hotel can get crowded during the daytime. Restaurants in the immediate area are not that good so I suggest going to neighboring Whitechapel. I was strongly suggest taking Uber boats around town as it is a lot cheaper than taxis or an Uber car.

The hotel was nice and was in a great area. Very close to many toursit attractions and very easy to get around. The one complaint is that the air conditioning was not working properly which was especially problematic given the fact that we were there when the temperture was routinely exceeding 80 degrees F / 27 degrees C with +75% humidity. The hotel provided fans but their effectiveness was limited at best.

The hotel is nice. The location is fantastic! Conveniently located. The staff was very nice. The only complaint that we have is that the air conditioning was not working properly and we were there during a particularly warm (88 degrees F/31 degrees C), 74% humidity, time of year (August 12-16, 2025). The hotel provided fans but that had limited effect.

Will not stay again.

A hotel in much need of an update. Room was very tired and needs decoration. Had an Executive Room which provides a complimentary mini bar. Bar has 5 cans of drink two of which contain alcohol, gin and tonic and beer no other spirits. Expensive upgrade for what is on offer. I would not stay at this hotel again. Too expensive for what it offers.

When we checked in we already knew that the weather was going to be hot in London. Our rooms AC or central air wasn’t working, we had to tell the front desk three times that our rooms was around 83 F. We didn’t see a maintenance guy until the second day. He was able to get the AC worked ng but it only got the room down to 78 F. Our friends one room over was at 72 F. The hallways were cooler than the room. Overall the staff was unresponsive and very disrespectful.

Great view to the Tower Bridge, great location. I understand is a busy hotel because its location and view, but I will recommend investing to perform a global updates/renovations, the carpets, rooms, bathrooms, cabinets.

Has potential

This was a layover stay with my wife. We had booked a room with a view of Tower Bridge. We got up to our room, no view of Tower Bridge and no A/C! After contacting and going back down to the front desk they moved us rooms. We also heard other guests complaining of no A/C. Next room had a great view but A/C worked poorly, we requested a fan and it helped a little bit. Unfortunately the lights in foyer and bathroom emit heat, and the toilet would not stop running! Breakfast was ok but overall we booked this hotel for the location (view of Tower Bridge) and for the amenities (mainly A/C) and was just dissapointed.

Unfortunately the rooms do not have air conditioning in them it was very hot. They gave us a fan but the room temperature got up to 28.5 degrees so wasn't really effective. We used to stay at this hotel 20 years ago unfortunately the decor is still the same so will not be rushing back which is such a shame

This hotel has the best location , that would give it a 5 stars review . Walking distance to major attractions and easy access to both buses and underground . What takes the 5 stars away from it is the immediate need of renovations . There is no air conditioning , the rooms are very dated , and the general ambience of the hotel looks in need of some TLC. London was particularly hot during our stay and the hotel felt like a sauna inside . Their solution is to give you a fan for the room ! Overall, stay here for the location , be aware of the not air conditioning situation !
