"We stayed here to attend a wedding in Walnut Grove. Love that it’s in a quiet location, but their doors do slam close and it’s very loud. Not sure why hotels have that feature, makes it hard to open the door if you have a lot in your hands, and if you accidentally let go of the door midway, it slams close way too fast. I’m a mom of little kids so I always think about potential safety hazards. But again, this isn’t the only hotel that has slamming/heavy doors. Thankfully during our stay, the guests were very courteous and tried to hold the door as it closed to avoid a loud slam. The breakfast was well stocked, had a nice variety of options and liked that it’s away from the seating area, so no hovering over someone trying to get food while they’re eating at a table that’s too close to the counter. There’s plenty of seating and it’s spaced out nicely. If we ever go back that direction, would definitely stay here again."
