Aside from the very nice desk agent, this place is a dump. The parking is atrocious for starters. Within the first 30 minutes of being there I got a door ding big enough to leave a 4 inch dent in my door, and there is absolutely no room to turn around if you nose in.. you’re backing all of the way back out. The “ramps” they have to get to the basement and upper level parking are only accessible in an SUV or truck due to the severe incline. There is no way to get a normal sedan into either. I know because I tried. The room was disgusting, with big stains on the carpet, stains and rips in the furniture, some sort of brown stain on the bathroom light fixture, and black mold on the wall in the bathroom. Clearly they’ve had issues with people smoking cigarettes and/or weed in the hotel because there are these yellow stickers plastered all over the place (including on the only window in the room), warning people not to do it or they will be kicked out and charged a fee. My credit card was charged twice for the “security deposit hold,” and so far neither have dropped off. This place is fine if you’re a greasy transient just looking for a place to stay out of the elements. Otherwise, go anywhere else in the immediate area.

The hotel was right on the bay and we had a view. There was access to the beach, but it was also lovely just looking out over the water. Staff were all fantastic, very accommodating and passed on great suggestions for restaurants and "the secret beach." The room was clean and had all the features you would want and expect. Great price too! I loved this place and highly recommend.

Older property but the location can’t be beat! You are right on the beach! Beds in the room are super comfy! Breakfast is good with choices of waffles, bagels, English muffins, fruit and yogurt. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and quick to check in and out!

Wonderfully kind staff! Nice view to enjoy. On our last eve a bonfire party was happening right outside our first floor room, not so peaceful. Parking lot is a challenge with limited parking and large vehicles parking in "compact parking" spots. Coffee was good, surprised to find no good protein or carnivore options for breakfast. Only carby starches with fruit and yogurt as the only gluten free options. Is a great spot if you like to walking to local shops!

This would have been a higher rating, since the staff were friendly, the check in and check out process was quick, and the room had a nice view of the ocean. Unfortunately the shower did not have hot water, and being unable to shower after a long day of traveling, shopping and walking on the beach was a little disappointing. We called the front desk and were told there wasn’t anything that could be done until morning, so we just never got to shower since we checked out in the morning.

I booked this reservation a year in advance and this property cancelled my reservation 2 weeks prior to the intended stay. We had family coming from out of town for this trip and it was ruined. Unbeknownst to me, it was the kite festival and the reservation I made was 5 times less than what the prices were 2 weeks prior to our stay. The reason for the property canceling our reservation was “operational issues” but the rooms were still available to reserve at the inflated price. I will never use Expedia or this property again. Terrible customer service with both parties. Thanks for ruining our family vacation.

The property is in a superb location and the price was excellent for what they provided! We were right next door to a good restaurant. After check-in, we had a wonderful meal. We then came back to the hotel room. I rested and my wife took a two mile walk along the beach which was just outside our room on the ground floor. The mattress was of a high quality and we slept well. The decor in the room was old but the room itself was exceptionally clean and the sheets on the bed were clean and fresh. We will definitely consider coming back here again in the future. Richard and Frances Johnson Bellingham, Washington P.S. Breakfast was included in the price and it was a standard serve yourself type of breakfast. It served us well and got our morning started off right!

This property is a bargain considering the location. Being right on the beach was such a treat. The folks working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. It is unfortunate that they did not offer any non-dairy milk.

The room we had was so dated, carpeting was fraying in areas around the tub, no handles or non slip material in bottom of shower or hot tub. Toilet was loose, sit on it you need seatbelt. Dining room way too small and very little continental breakfast. Parking was so bad cars had to park on street. First and last time staying here! Be sure to read the fine print, once you make reservations, no canceling like it says. When we got in room on the desk was an envelope, it said “thank you for tip”! What the heck, don’t know if it’s company policy for them to do own asking for tip, but way it came across very tacky. There was no housekeeping so how can you even ask first thing for tip. So, just my opinion, never staying here again, just passing along what we saw.
