HYPERION Hotel Dresden Am Schloss
"I would call this hotel a gem in the center of Dresden. Unassuming entrance with a great hotel inside! The hotel is very spacious - large, bright reception area, 3 well-functioning elevators, large rooms with lots of light. Very helpful and friendly staff. I liked the window curtains, covering the ..."

Hampton By Hilton Dresden City Centre
"The room was clean and in pristine condition. It had good lighting and a pleasant smell, particularly from the liquid soap, although I wasn’t keen on the scent of the lotion. Public transport was very convenient, with tram and bus stops just a 2-minute walk away and the central train station about ..."

Dormero Hotel Dresden Airport
"One room was nice. The other room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We requested a taxi for 4:15 am. The desk clerk said he would arrange it. The taxi never came and the nighttime contact numbers were recordings. We were luckily able to catch a bus to the airport."

Lichtenberg Hotel & Travel Guide\n
As there is only 1 hotel within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of Lichtenberg's downtown area, you'll want to consider booking a place to stay as soon as possible.
If you like to find a great place less than half a mile from the key features of downtown Lichtenberg, check out the facilities at the well-situated Pension Teichblick.
The QF Hotel Dresden is 13 miles (21 kilometers) from the central part of Lichtenberg. Or, alternatively, the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais is about 13 miles (20 kilometers) away. Other hotel options are the Suitess - An der Frauenkirche and the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden.
The greater Saxony region is definitely well worth exploring too. If you love nature, be sure to explore Saxony's forests, rivers, streams and lakes. You should also venture to many of the area's ruins. Wise visitors in this section of Germany love snowboarding and skiing.
Goerlitz is 45 miles (70 kilometers) east of Lichtenberg and is where you'll find Luthern Church and Silesian Museum in Gorlitz. If you visit Goerlitz, check out the rooms at the Hotel Schwibbogen and Romantik Hotel Tuchmacher. 20 miles (33 kilometers) to the northeast of Lichtenberg, you may also choose to stay at Hoyerswerda, home to the ACHAT Comfort Lausitz and Hotel Zur Mühle. The Hoyerswerda Castle Museum and Lausitzbad Spa are a couple of the more popular attractions to get to know for those visiting Hoyerswerda.
Make sure you spend a few hours cheering wildly in the company of lovers of sport at a local game. Rudolf Harbig Stadium can be found 13 miles (21 kilometers) to the southwest of Lichtenberg. Wise travelers who enjoy the idea of finding accommodation nearby, reserve a room in the The Westin Bellevue Dresden or Swissotel Dresden Am Schloss.
For the modern traveler planning on arriving through Dresden Airport, you might want to book a bed at Akademiehotel Dresden, or Airport Hotel Dresden, which are both a short distance away.

I liked the window curtains, covering the entire wall including corners, so no sun coming in in the morning (unless you want that). We got a corner room with 5 windows facing to 2 quiet streets with lots of pedestrian traffic but almost no cars. Everything very quiet. The parking was surprisingly big - they have a full underground garage. 30 euros / day was a bit steep, but I guess it should be expected in the very center of Dresden Old Town. The only thing I did not like was a minimum separation between shower/sync/toilet and the living/sleeping area. On a father/daughter trip, I would prefer a bit more privacy. But, for most people, this would probably not be an issue. In any case, when I get to Dresden again, I will pick this hotel again."
