Bienvenido a la estación Hutchison, nuestra estación de trenes renovada de 1890. Explore las granjas de caballos, el sendero Bourbon y el centro de KY mientras se hospeda en nuestra granja de caballos pura sangre en pleno corazón del bluegrass.
La estación Hutchison fue parte del sistema ferroviario L&N entre 1890 y 1950 con servicio de pasajeros y carga entre Lexington y París. Era el centro de la comunidad local e incluía una oficina de correos, 2 herrerías, tiendas generales y corrales de ganado.
La estación de Hutchison se divide en dos apartamentos en planta baja. El "Limerick" (llamado así por el caballo del evento de Lisa) tiene pisos de madera noble en todo, techos de 12 'y está amueblado con muebles locales artesanales y antiguos. El Limerick tiene dos habitaciones con baño, cada una con una cama king size. La sala de estar incluye asientos de mostrador para cuatro más asientos de mesa para cuatro.
La estación de Hutchison está aproximadamente a medio camino entre Lexington y París.

Beautiful place

We really enjoyed it stay. The dwelling is beautiful, as well as the grounds. And, of course, the horses and the donkeys were such pleasure to see and feed a few carrots. Loved it.

We have stayed here several times now and every visit is perfect. The place is impeccably clean and maintained. Stephen and Lisa are wonderful hosts and watching the mares and foals across the street is an extra special bonus.

Loved our stay!

Absolutely beautiful!

This property is absolutely beautiful. Clean, comfy beds, beautifully decorated and well furnished. Gorgeous setting! Only drawback was the kitchen only has an undercounter refrigerator without a freezer. That means a LONG trek back to the refr/freezer in the laundry room - probably not a big deal for most people without a "walking problem". Such a gorgeous, well kept property! Easy trip to super walmart and Paris.

Donkeys & more!

What a great property! It was bigger than anticipated with large, spacious bedrooms. The property is very clean with beautiful wood floors. It is located right in the middle of horse country and an easy (and beautiful) drive into downtown Lexington (about 20 minutes). The donkeys were a hit with all and enjoyed the apples and carrots. Communication with the owners was very easy. You will potentially meet the owners and others working the property. All were very pleasant, happy to help & answer any questions. I highly recommend this rental! It is one floor with parking on a well maintained gravel driveway.

Spacious elegant stay in horse country

The property was immaculate and well designed. The view of the horse pastures was wonderful as were the mares and foals. Wonderful high ceilings and a light filled great room. My only critique is that there is no house number so it took a couple minutes to find.

Perfect Setting

The train station surpassed our expectations. Everything about it was nice and polished. The floors, lighting and many of the details were similar to what would have originally existed in a train station. The bed was very comfortable which is a bit unusual when it is not your own bed. We enjoyed walking the property and vsiting the horses and donkeys. Not sure if we will even have another opportunity to be in Paris, but we would definitely stay again if we did.

Exceeded All Expectations!

What a great place to stay! The location is beautiful. We were there for the K3D and after traipsing around all day for three days, we thoroughly enjoyed coming "home" to our beautiful and tastefully renovated "train station." It was comfortable, relaxing, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The owner and his wife live nearby and were clearly available if we needed anything. His wife added special touches that made us feel very welcome. It's a great place to stay!
