Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown
"Property was well maintained and clean. Included breakfast was great. Room was very quiet, I have had to take hotel in other city downtown and that is probably the best I have seen when it comes to quiet(my window had a view of a wall so might be a contributing factor). Also the blinds (or what ever that thing is called) did an excellent job keeping the light out when closed. On weekdays, it’s connected to the skybridges which is very helpful for going places (including during period of eat/cold/…) as well as filled with food options for lunch. However, everything close early (2-5pm) in there, and the area around the hotel is largely deprived of food options at night and weekend (there are plenty of bars tho and some expensive steak houses). While staff is always polite, things can be unreliable when it comes to things like making the room or delivering what they agreed to do (e.g, we ran out of toilet paper and when we called for it they never delivered and didn’t refil when they did the room, had to grab a roll from a cart in the hallway and call again the next day to get a refill before we ran out)."
