I was given room 248 which has no out facing window. The room had a stretched out configuration with two single beds. The room was clean but dated. The divan bed was in need of repair, the sheets not fully fitted around the mattress and the pillows were dreadful. It was clean. There was only decaf coffee and only a space where once there had been a fridge. The bathroom had a bath but felt tired. The toiletries were lovely.

Our stay was below what we expected. The online check in we were offered the day before and took advantage of made no difference to our actual check in time as we still.had to queue at the front desk for 30 minutes due to lack of staffing. We were even offered a free drink from the bar to compensate for the wait, which should never happen. The room itself was ok, but stains and marks on the white walls made it look dirty. Only 2 tea bags in the room, which was not enough for a 2 day stay for 2 people. Breakfast was average, with only soya milk or while fat milk as the only options, no semi skimmed. The fruit area was full of tiny fruit flies buzzing around. Altogether, a very disappointing visit and we would probably chose another hotel in central Leeds next time we visit.

Check in took 30 minutes - long queue - understaffed. No one at bar so couldn’t get drinks. Room was OK - only one towel provided and one hand towel which has a hole in it. Had to try ringing reception 15 times (they kept disconnecting us). Eventually got towels. One plug socket didn’t work, bedside wall lamps loose, hotel very noisy as well. Such a shame for this hotel as a good location and the staff did their best

Queue to check-in was 35 minutes then given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. Not enough staff and not very welcoming, asked for duty manager who said they weren’t allowed more staff!! This hotel needs staffing properly and staff need training in proper hospitality and customer services.

The size of the room was fantastic! I would also like to give a special mention to the young lady who met us when we got to the restaurant for breakfast this morning; you find in most hotels the hosts for breakfast are quite dry and not very welcoming but she was fantastic and so bubbly / welcoming!

The hotel is in a very good location and there is a good car park underneath. The room we had was good too. The main reason why the review score wasn’I higher was the TVs weren’t working. When I tried to call reception nobody answered. I tried many times and never had my call answered. When I went downstairs to ask about the TVs I was basically told nothing could be done about it. The receptionist wasn’t very helpful.

Hotel was very central and parking right next door, didn't even have to go outside to enter hotel. Breakfast had good selection however Sunday's cooked option was better presented than Monday, which was not refreshed quick enough? Room was nice enough however we did notice a sewage smell upon entering that lingered for the 2days of our stay, if staying longer would have complained. Over all a descent short stay hotel, would use again.

Room was ridiculously hot and air conditioning didn’t appear to work despite making a noise. We got very little sleep. Breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. Eggs were hard and looked like they had been made a long time previously. They tasted awful. Non of the hot breakfast was fresh tasting. So disappointed.
