This was our first stay at the Plaza. We loved that it was walkable to Fremont Street, but far enough away that we couldn’t hear anything late at night. Pinkbox donuts was great for an inexpensive snack or breakfast. Our room was old, dated, with an extremely small bathroom. Nothing fancy at all compared to other casinos we’ve stayed at, but we did like having a mini-fridge. We liked the pool and went almost every morning, but the water was freezing, the music was a little too loud, and we wished it opened earlier than 9:00am. For the month of August they had a happy hour in the bar and guests got 2 free drinks which was nice. We only got to do this one day because we weren’t near the hotel on the other days, but it was a really nice experience. Lastly, there was confusion about what I owed when I checked in (I booked through Expedia). The desk guy was confused and went to ask the manager who never came out to talk to me face to face. They ended up reversing some charges but then charging me the following day. We just left this morning so I’m watching my credit card statement to be sure I wasn’t overcharged. Overall we did have a great trip, but I think a few improvements can be made to make the Plaza experience even better.

I had a great time at the Plaza. It was my 35th b day and I don’t want to leave. The plaza hotel was clean and accommodating. My only issue with the Plaza was the noise outside my hotel. I stayed on the Fremont street side. Other than that this hotel was a good experience overall. They made my 35th birthday a memory I will never forget.

The Plaza is an excellent option. Having easy access to Fremont St. , Easy pickup & drop off locations, vicinity to main strip and great food options made this an amazing experience. Staff was knowledgeable and responsive. Would stay here again. I stayed there while getting married in Vegas so I really appreciate the staff and housekeeping for accomodating us.
