Nice Property and Mountain Views

We attend a horse competition at the Rabun arena and this home was about 8 minutes away. Very convenient! The views were beautiful and the bedrooms were comfortable. We had two vehicles and managed to park in the driveway, but it was fairly tight. We plan on returning!

Great Place and Location

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer, we will stay here again if we are ever in the area. Only one small problem was that we could only find 6 towels in the entire house, two per bathroom, so we had to wash towels a few times. Not a huge problem, so still 5 stars.

Nice Cabin a few details that need to be addressed

The cabin was nice. A good view and comfortable. Well positioned for pets. The fire pit did not work, even with the owner bringing more gas and the hot tub would not heat so we couldn’t use those amenities.

Thought of everything

Our visit to Brown Bear Cabin was like coming home. It was evident that the hosts thought of every person in our family...even our pet! It was easy to navigate the functions of the house and amenities, and the sunrise was breathtaking. Thank you for such a lovely vacation.

Fun weekend

We enjoyed our family weekend getaway. The space fit our 4 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 2) perfectly. The baby gait and the gift basket were special touches. We were so comfortable that we cooked and ate there every night. The views were amazing. Thanks for sharing your cabin.

Relaxing fun in the mountains

We enjoyed a weekend away with friends just to relax. Teens were entertained well. Dogs played. Adults relaxed. Nice cabin as shown in pictures. Would definitely stay again.

We were. so impressed with this cabin. Had almost everything we needed. Clean and beautiful decor. Fast response from the property manager when I asked a question. The only drawback is there is really no yard for the kids. I have a grandson that loves being. outside in the woods and we did not find a place on this property. We all had a great time and are planning on coming back. Location is. good with a. lot of hiking close by.

Fall Getaway

The cabin was absolutely amazing and the perfect space for our family. It was so cozy and comfortable, it felt like home. We had the best time making memories with our grandkids and we all loved the game room, karaoke, hot tub and the views! We hope to be back next year. Perfect weekend for hiking and football

The Brown Bear Cabin was the perfect place for our little getaway weekend. We were close to all the things we wanted to do ... and there was so much to do at "home" that we enjoyed staying in to watch the games and hang out. The owners have done such a great job with furnishings, supplies, activities, and more! Roomy and spacious ... and better than we ever expected!! Thanks for such a great location!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Thanksgiving in the Mountains

The cabin met every need and expectation. It was very clean and the host thought of every amenity that would make the stay more enjoyable. It was probably one of the nicest basements I have stayed. There were games, air hockey, an electric fireplace, s’mores Kits . a bar and very nicely decorated. The kitchen had most of what we needed and was very clean. The host really did anticipate our needs.

Awesome Family Vacation Spot!

This was our first family vacation in the mountains and we absolutely loved it. The Brown Bear Cabin was in the perfect location. We went snow tubing, ate at The Dillard House, got ice cream from Goats on the Roof, hiked to several water falls, visited antique stores, and enjoyed down time playing games at the cabin! It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we took our family Christmas photos there!

A Perfect Cabin Christmas

We had the perfect holiday week at this beautiful cabin. We certainly enjoyed our five days of relaxation and exploring the surrounding area. The cabin was very clean and gorgeously decorated. It even had a Christmas tree! The kids were able wake up to presents and stockings surrounding the tree. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to cook our Christmas dinner. My husband was also able to make my birthday cake with all the gadgets he needed! We had an amazing day at Tallulah Falls and found some other hidden waterfalls to visit. Goats on the Roof had the best ice cream ever! The sunrise views every morning were fabulous! Game night was a fun and full of laughter and memories that will last forever! We will definitely be back to stay at The Brown Bear Cabin. Thank you for an awesome experience!
