Initially, the host was very communicative and accommodating. I was traveling with my mother, who is in a wheelchair and has dementia, and due to a flight issue we needed early check-in. The host allowed this, which I appreciated.Unfortunately, after the first night several issues became apparent. The bed frame had duct tape underneath it, which the host later explained was due to a previous break that had been “repaired.” This raised safety concerns and was not disclosed beforehand. The mattress was also extremely thin and did not match expectations based on the listing photos.There was also a safety issue in the bathroom. When my mother stood up from the toilet and touched the sink, the sink actually slid because it was not properly attached to the wall. I documented this with photos.The entry door was difficult to operate because it was not aligned properly, requiring significant pressure on the door for the keypad code to work. This made entry challenging while assisting someone in a wheelchair. There was also consistent late-night noise from nearby units and ants around the sink area.I attempted to address these concerns with the host privately, but the response was defensive and the issues were attributed to us. Because we could not find another place on short notice, we stayed. However, based on our experience, I would not recommend this property at its current price point.
