Great long weekend stay

We arrived to a lovely, clean and well designed home. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms beautifully designed. The extra unit upstairs is helpful for larger families in your party. Great time!!

Several Maintenance Issues

The house was large and had plenty of space to accommodate our group of 8. The location was ok, but not very walkable, and some areas felt sketchy at night. We had several issues:When we arrived at the house, there was a ceiling leak on the third floor. We had to turn off the HVAC for the upstairs for the first several days of the stay while waiting for maintenance to fix the issue, meaning it was very hot and stuffy for those sleeping upstairs.The internet was also not working on our arrival, which meant none of the TVs worked either. After some back and forth, we finally got access to a set of keys to get into the basement to reset the router, but it was a whole ordeal with the property manager to get support. The resolution for these issues (100, or 3% of our cost) was insufficient for the amount of time, effort, and discomfort it took to resolve them.

Beautiful renovated home

The house was as advertised! Plenty of room for our sister's weekend retreat! The rooms were large and the space was great for several simultaneous conversations. We all love to cook so it was great to have a kitchen area which could accommodate 4 cooks! The beds were comfortable and the bedding was fine but was beginning to show wear. The shower in the 2nd floor bedroom at the top of the stairs is very slippery so a shower mat would have been appreciated! We did notice the exterior needs some attention; paint peeling on the driveway side of the property. House is needing attention to general maintenance, but this certainly did not impact our stay. The sink in the powder room is leaking and is pulled away from the wall.We had to call the management company to help us unlock the garage but they were SUPER responsive - impressed with response time. Overall we enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood appears to be in transition. We heard lots of sirens and were concerned until we realized we were surrounded by 3 large hospitals.

Weekend Boys Trip

From South Florida to see a classmate. Had a long weekend. Of course, the location, convenance and condition of the house made hanging in Kansas City, MO proper all the more special. Able to navigate to venues effortlessly. Would highly recommend this property. The area is eclectic with some gentrification and charm. Highky responsive host.

We brought our adult kids to KC for a Monday night Chiefs game!! This house was perfect for us!! And - best secret of all - using Linwood to get back home after the game was a super fast way to exit Arrowhead!! We definitely will stay again for future KC adventures!!

Great stay and close to so much!

Great property for a family or 4 couples! The neighborhood is bit concerning as you drive into the area, but after a few days we discovered so many fun places so close. We ubered for many spots including the plaza, the power and light district. Just be ware and don't go out alone. They had everything we needed, but the skillet is a tough nugget if you try to cook eggs in it, even with oil. It sticks bad. Master could use a couple more large towels. Two towels doesn't cut it for a couple. We needed three. Washer and dryer were great! They had laundry soap, dish machine soap and shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the bathrooms. No ice in the freezer. Fridge was not hooked up to water. Great big dining room table for games. They even supply many for you. Family room area comfortable and plenty of space for all 8 of us to spread out. Parking is plentiful but a bit tricky to get in and out of as the drive is very narrow and steep. Some of us did end up parking on the street for ease. The air worked, but we were there during some unusually hot days. Glad we had fans to help push air around. We would stay again!

Perfect house for us

This big house was perfect for my family, five adults and one child. I especially loved the third floor suite, with its own kitchen! Nice front yard lighting, great adjustable AC, Kleenex in many rooms, extra blankets, pour-over coffee maker (my favorite), easy and secure door locks ----just everything we needed. Thanks to our great host!

Excellent stay in a beautiful mid-town house

Highly recommend. This house is ideal for a larger party (we had 7). It was super clean and well appointed. The large dining room table fit nine for games and meals. The host was very responsive through the whole process including when our Internet went down briefly. Bonus - full one bedroom apartment at the top provides an extra bath and kitchen as well as a bed. The neighborhood is typical for mid-town, rough around the edges in spots but close to downtown, the Plaza, and stadiums.

Friend group celebrating a birthday

Great location; we walked to Westport bars and restaurants. Only gave 4 stars because area is questionable at night to walk. Coffee bar is excellent. Plenty of hot water for 6 adults to shower. Good towels, sheets, beds, bedding. We didn’t cook any meals but the kitchen has a great setup for cooking, dining room table accommodates large group nicely. Need to get rock glasses for the bar, otherwise nice bar setup. Porch furniture would be a nice touch; it was a nice day to sit outside and that appears to be the only place to gather outside. (It might have been a little early to set out.) Check 3rd floor air filter; needs attention

Kansas City Family Vaca 2023

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hanover Place with Cozy in KC. The location was perfect for everything we had planned on our trip!
