Good location. Rooms are roomy except for the bathroom. The biscuits & gravy were good but the scrambled eggs and sausage were cold.

The room was spacious, the shower had mold/mildew in the caulking, there was hair from the previous occupants and the water did not properly drain until we requested maintenance. The fire alarm went off around 1:30am, we had to evacuate, once we were back in our room, the light continued flashing until after 10am. Also, ceiling tiles in the hallways were stained with mold or mildew from previous water leaks. The sink faucet was not properly secured. It is a beautiful property from the outside and the lobby, but definitely requires more care inside the actual rooms.

The parking was fairly good, although still a hike to get to the office/ check in. I was supposed to have a Handicap room & ground level. We were there for a wedding and a family reunion. Our family was all over the hotel.

Needs improvement

The outside door latch was broken so anyone could access the far entrance away from the desk. There were several security lights inoperative and made me feel less than comfortable for my vehicle and its contents. There was mold around the tub. Not sure how it has such a high rating on hotels.com
