Wonderful Long Weekend

Enjoyed the incredible view from the balcony. The condo was beautiful and the extra windows made it feel huge. Refrig was a little loud but everything else was wonderful.

Great place for family getaway

We really enjoyed our here. It’s beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The community amenities are wonderful. We rented bikes and rode all over the island, enjoyed walks on the beach and played pickle ball. I highly recommend this condo. The pool is very nice but a little to cold for this southern girl to swim.

Wonderful stay! Well appointed, nicely decorated high-end property with beautiful ocean views. Loved watching the sunrise over the ocean each morning. Perfect for our multi-generational family. Great communication from the hosts.

August Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at A Wave From It All. The communication of the check-in process and how to access the unit was clear and easy. We had wonderful access to the beach and easy access to the communities pool. The accommodations were clean and perfect space for our family. Our stay was great and we had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous Condo

Perfect weekend gateway. The condo is beautiful and Included everything we needed. The beach is nice and not crowded at all even on a holiday weekend. The pool is a good size for adults and a small baby pool. The owner provided very detailed information about checkin and everything we needed well ahead of time, such that we never had to ask for anything.

Lovely place

Enjoyed the lovely place we stayed while in the Charleston area. The condo had all the amenities a family needs for a relaxing get away. Enjoyed the ocean views and the space for our family to have privacy. Wild Dunes is a beautiful location, too, in the heart of scenic Isle of Palms. There is much to do nearby, including shopping and dining, and getting around the area is very easy. Felt very safe here and the unit was quiet. It was a great experience and we would stay here again.

Comfort with a View

This condo in Shipwatch worked great for our family stay in Charleston! The beach view was gorgeous! Access to the beach was easy and scenic. All the beds were comfy and the kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. Three bathrooms, convenient laundry, and a well-stocked open kitchen made life easy! I will recommend this place to my relatives who want an accessible unit where they can sit and watch the ocean with minimal walking!

BEWARE OF THE NOTE ABOUT CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR!

First, I would like to say the condo is very nice. It’s well maintained and very comfortable. This is our third time staying in the ship watch condos and first time at this particular condo. We love the views from the patio and close beach access with no stairs, ideal for a stroller. However, midway through our stay they began construction on the condos next door, which are only 50 feet or so from this unit. It’s not just construction, they were grinding the concrete decks on all 4 levels of the condo from 7:30am till about 4pm. It is extremely loud and dusty, everyone is wearing respirators that’s working. I asked if there was anything that could be done and was told that the listing said there would be construction going on during our stay. I totally missed it, but I feel like it was a real “gotcha” moment by the property manager, because the rate doesn’t reflect at all that this work is being done, it’s practically still peak season rates. This unit shouldn’t have even been available for the days we stayed. Anyway, lesson learned on my part, keep an eye out for any notes that say “construction” and stay far away.

Excellent Property

I visited with family and the property exceeded expectations. The check in process was extremely easy, and the property was very clean and nicely decorated. I visited with family (we were a group of 7) and we loved the property. The kitchen is open and nicely decorated and fully stocked with all supplies. The balcony was the highlight for us. The balcony has outdoor furniture and a space large enough for our whole group to comfortably sit outside together. It overlooks the ocean and the view exceeded my expectations. We have two young kids and the condo and location was perfect for them. This would also be a fantastic spot for adults traveling without kids as well.

Family Fun

Ideal location and spectacular viee of the ocean. Rooms were soacious and very clean. One complaint from family in bunk room. Mattresses were not comfortable. The front door lock gave us trouble but after 2 visits the maintenance man showed all of us how to correctly lock and unlock door. He schooled us.

Great beach weekend - beautiful place and view!
