"We stayed here 13 yrs ago for our honeymoon, Freddie was still coking and it was only 12 rooms. It has kept its charm, some aspects are a victim of his success, more people, busier in the restaurant. But will stay again"

"As with most hotels, they start out amazing then taper off from that. The Mecure Padang is starting to show its age however still asking the premium price point, up against much newer/better hotels around the same price. Still one of the nicer hotels around."

"i think the kindest thing might be to say that its not set up for foreign guests - but the reality is it was disgracefully dirty and how they can get away with calling it 5 stars is beyond me - I left and went to Murcure, totally unacceptable for any guests."
