This place was really great for our stay. Everything was clean. We did notice an odd smell, like the floors had been mopped with an old mop but we later learned that most of it was coming from the washing machine. We cleaned out the part of the washer that collects buildup and ran a bleach-and-water cycle, and it’s good as new now with no more funk. (In case anyone else has this issue, check the gasket/filter.)There is everything you need at this house for cooking. I did not know this but our house didn't have a hot tub and firepit and we weren't sure if it should have - we just went to the clubhouse down the street but that closes at 10 PM and you cannot bring any alcohol there (A really good thing to know before booking.) I specifically booked this place because of the gym and the basketball court. To my surprise, they don't open until 9am. Now, I can understand the basketball court not wanting to open too early but as a person who goes to the gym at 5 AM this really ruined a part of this trip for me. Who is waiting at a gym at 9am? That is when I should be dressed and ready to go to breakfast, you know? There also was no basketball for the court so I went to walmart to buy one - it was like 12 and I left it for the next guests.
