Room was neglected. Water stains on the entire ceiling. The vanity faucet was for a kitchen sink . The floor in the bathroom was dirty especially behind the door. I would have left but there was a significant amount of snow that fell impacting travel.Absolutely not worth the money I spent.

Room was out dated. Carpets need to be address. Not much can be expected since it is a very old hotel in a place. It's very reasonable.
Well below what was expected. I asked if there were any hangars available to hang up our coats in the room. as there were none. The woman who checked me in looked around the check in area and said no no hangars. Sp take it from there.

Building was very neglected, poorly staffed facility, sheets on bed were dirty, dirty laundry found in bags.at the end of the hall.
Hotel Wayne is a very charming hotel with a very homy feel. It’s got a very comfortable little restaurant and bar downstairs. It’s one of the oldest buildings in the town and has a lot of history to it, including some ghost apparently. It doesn’t have the most modern amenities and conveniences, but it’s clean and well-maintained and in the best possible location close to everything downtown.
Despite quirks like having to turn the TV on by pushing a button on the back of the TV, having to control the room temperature by twisting a knob on a baseboard heater, and having to be very careful in adjusting the shower water temperature because the temperature jumps or drops very quickly with just a slight twist of the knob, I would still much prefer to stay here then I would at some bland corporate cookie cutter hotel.
The room wasnt clean stains in shower stall no tub. Not kept up. the door was flimsy didnt feel safe. Theres a dingy bar hangout downstairs. When i walked in a girl was passed out in the chair before i went upstairs to my room. Theres no parking. It just wasnt nice at all i wouldnt stay there again was gross
This was the first time returning to my home town and stayed in a hotel as well as my first visit to the Hotel Wayne.
The hotel is a historic building and as such does not have an elevator; however, it does have a beautiful wide staircase. I found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The Hotel Wayne has has its own restaurant and bar for your relaxation. The bartender, Maggie, was wonderful as were Shelby and Mel. Thank you ladies for allowing me to spend time with you! I miss you already...
My room was large, well appointed and clean. It over looked Main Street and the star on Irving Cliff. This was a welcome perspective.
If you are looking for a historic place and don't mind not having all of the frills, I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Wayne.
