The hotel was obviously not cleaned very well. Hair in the shower, in the bed sheets, dead bugs on the floor. Could hear every single thing through the walls and the floor. My room didn’t even lock properly.

We had an issue with the room that was assigned to us. The front desk associate Joshua was very quick to get us moved to another room. He did this in the middle of a very hectic check-in time as the hotel was completely booked because of several baseball tournaments in Hattiesburg. He was the upmost professional and handled everything quick and efficient. The lady that fixes and does the breakfast each morning is outstanding. Only criticism we would have is that this location could use some updating.

We chose this hotel based upon its high user reviews, but we less than impressed when we arrived at the hotel. The room was clean but most everything in room was in need of some repair. Everything just looked aged and worn. Scratches and paint chipping in several locations and the head boards were needing some attention. Hotel was louder than expected for a week night.

This hotel is in serious need of a makeover. I think it was fairly clean but couches, chairs, headboards, shower floor, light fixtures in bathroom were disgustingly damaged. Horrible stains on the couch in our room, rust on the bathroom light fixtures, very scratched up vinyl headboard, etc. it’s all Just VERY worn. But, the employees were very nice and helpful and the property itself felt safe. The bed wasn’t horrible and the linens were clean so it served its purpose for us as a quick stop for one night.

Don't believe the 'excellent' reviews

I booked this hotel while on the road and needing a place to crash for the night. I read the reviews and chose it based on the 'excellent' rating. You guys did me dirty! The room I was not dirty but not exactly clean. The one bed coverlet had stains all over it. The towels were not washed between guests and I went to wash my face and found what looked like ear wax on a washcloth. The headboard is peeling apart. The shower leaks loudly and I had to put a towel beneath it to catch the multitude of water and stop the incessant dripping sound. The towel was brown with rust in the morning. The AC was extremely loud and never turned off (it was set at 72). I was freezing all night. Plus, the room doesn't have much sound proofing so I woke up every time someone opened/closed a door. Glad to be leaving. One plus: fastest check-in ever.
