My fiance and I spent 2 nights in the Bunkhouse at Riverside Ranch. No complaints and would strongly recommend to others.
Property: The bunkhouse is a standalone building near the hotel part of the property. There is space to park right next to the unit. The bunkhouse is a small but comfortable space with amenities including a kitchenette (stocked with dishes, utensils, and cooking supplies), full-sized refrigerator, a large flat screen TV, two recliners, and air conditioning + fans. There is also a private patio with bistro lights, a private charcoal grill, two chairs, and a picnic table. The patio overlooks the RV park and beyond that the river and mountains. It's dark at night for stargazing (although we drove down the road to an empty field for even better viewing). Amenities were ample, including thoughtful items like spices and bug spray (helpful at night)
Location: Riverside Ranch is about 30 minutes away from Bryce Canyon, but directly en route coming from the south (i.e., LA, Vegas, St. George). There are closer properties but we didn't mind the drive and liked the privacy of the property and unit. There are limited amenities nearby, so this works best if you want to cook and stop en route for groceries.
Owners / hosts were very nice and helpful in our limited interaction. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for a similar experience!
