The house was nice enough but didnt go to any extra lengths. The grill hadn't been cleaned ever causing the bottom to rot. The pans were awful to use. The house can use a good pressure washing, the back screens were filthy. More than just a season's worth of gunk. The management company didnt return to turn off the pool and when the water levels were above the skimmer i turned it off. It would have been a nice touch if it included games or some beach supplies. In sum, the house was bare bones. The satellite tv in the living room was frequently glitchy, perhaps better download speeds would be worthwhile. The listing was deciving having a small above ground pool, which also should have been vacuumed prior to our arrival and wasnt. We will be back to gulf shores but not to this house.

Overall, the place was clean and put together. It was a great place for all 8 of us. But based on other places we’ve stayed for about the same price per night was not up to par. The issue or the reason why it was given four stars versus five is the fact that the kitchen is not technically fully stocked with only one skillet one pot, one pan and one large pot, the trashcan was broken, the pillows and bedding were very cheap, the water pressure was very low, especially upstairs, and the toilet in the main floor, which is used most often malfunctioned and seat didn’t stay up.

Gulf Shores World Series

This property was the perfect size and met all our needs . It was clean and the pool made for an excellent addition! The location was central and Getting to the beach was not hard at all . I want to give an extra shout out .. the washing machine was having some trouble and they had someone out there early the next day to replace it . I loved the place !

Great Visit

The house was very nice. The pool was great. The walk to the beach access was a little difficult for us finely aged folks, but we did have a great time.

Gulf shore trip

It got very cold and the furnance was not working correctly the closets and bathrooms upstairs were very cold...the kitchen floor by the sink has a sink hole in it, and the floors were not cleaned well i swept alot of dust from under beds and dressers and livingroom other then that things were ok

Very nice home

The home was very nice. We were told via direct message from the property owner that the beach access was only 0.03 miles away and “right across the street”, however it was actually 0.3 miles away and about a 6 minute walk to the public beach access. Overall, we were pleased with the home and would recommend for someone not needing direct beach access.

Late August get-a-way

Everything was as described. Plenty of room with all the amenities. Pool was very nice, but it would have been great if there was a little shade over it in the heat of the day. Property is close to beach access. Master bedroom is on the top floor, so if you have difficulty with stair it may not be the place for you. Very nice place, I would recommend for others.

Nice for family

Great property for generation family gathering. Husband and wife with grown daughter and her husband and right at 2 year old daughter and a close friend of the daughter. An issue with pool when arrived but it was taken care of that evening. Except should have be maintained afterwards so they didn't have to come back and shock the next day. But it worked out. Great location as long as you are not a beach person. We are not, so the pool worked well.

Christmas 2022 rough start

We had a great time enjoying each other and spending Christmas together. The house was updated and had enough room for the family of 6 adults, 1 child and a dog. There was a pool but due to the cold weather we did not use it. The house is conveniently located to many activities and the downstairs porch was nice. We got the access code to the house a little after the 4pm check in time which gave me a little scare, as we were driving from a distance. We arrived during one of the coldest nights and the heat did not work downstairs and we had no water in 2 of the bathrooms. We called the company and left a message with the answering service. We decided to get a hotel for my elderly parents as it was too cold and we were told it wouldn't be fixed that evening. We had to camp out upstairs the first night, as it was the only floor with heat. The next morning a nice service tech arrived and fixed the essential heat and water, it took a few hours to fully heat the house (as it was 42 degrees downstairs) but we were able to bring my parents into the home. We did not find that the home was sufficiently cleaned so I spent the first day cleaning and washing towels. By the 3rd night things were much better! We did have some unannounced people arrive from time to time to fix the pool we never used, I was concerned as I had not been given any notification. Overall, it was decent, as I think the place is nice but my experience was not the best. I do think the property manager should have reached out and followed up on our complaints and I think we should have known about the pool service techs, as they arrived in personal cars and we were so confused.

FABULOUS!

We enjoyed our "destination" Thanksgiving at Changing Latitudes. House was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool. The pool was beautiful - but weather didn't allow. GREAT location.

AMAZING STAY AND LOCATION

This house was definitely a step up from other properties near by that are "just getting by". It turns out our other friends booked a house that had all nice pictures but when they arrived was far from the truth. Thank God I had this house and it was everything we needed and more! The owner were a pleasure to work with and took care of accommodating all of our needs! Thank you BeachBall Properties!

Nice place

the house has clearly been recently renovated with no complaints from us about the cleanliness or repair of the home. Unfortunately the pool was not in operation, which was fully disclosed by the property manager at the time of booking. The house will be a bigger draw with the pool back in operation. Check in and Check out were very simple. WiFi was supplied and very easy to access and covered the entire property. The property manager utilized an app for communication/leasing information/document access which is lacking. Communication was hampered by the app-emailing or phone calls would have been much simpler. Access to the beach was approximately 20-25 houses away to the north and south (public beach access is at the intersection of 12th and 13th Street at Beach Blvd on either side of the block this home is on. Be prepared to walk a bit to get to the beach. Once to the beach, it is lovely.

Beautiful Home

This property is beautiful, it’s updated and perfect for a family. The rental agency was great to deal with. My only negative was that is was a bit of a hike to the beach accesses with all your beach stuff. We made friends with the people renting across the street and they allowed us to cut through.
