The cabin was great. Close to everything. Checking in and gaining access was a breeze. The only main concern was the main floor bathroom door leading to the kitchen. There is a gap between the closure that allows anyone in the kitchen to see inside the bathroom. Other than that, everything else was great. Would definitely reserve again.

Loved the cabin & location. Everything was as advertised & clean. 2 items to note. The faucet in the upstairs bath tub leaks continually, almost a slow run. Both downstairs faucets didn’t turn off well. Also, it initially took 6 tries to get the keypad to work to get in the cabin. I used the key in lock box thereafter. I was very happy you had a plan B with the key. Otherwise all good. Enjoyed the cabin.

It was amazing! the house we very liveable, we did alot of home coooking and grilling and had all we needed. The only thing the house needed was a broom...and a lock dor the trash can. We saw BEARS everyday at our house and that was amazing. Best Cabin ever!

Check in and out was easy. The only downside was they did not do a midstay trash pickup (we had 9 in the house, 2 in diapers), so we had to make a trip to the local dump. We also had to purchase a broom because there was not one available. I messaged and they said it was in one of the closets, but the closets were locked with a keypad. The cabin was nice and peaceful as well as clean and tidy. The pool was clean and kept nicely.

A cozy cabin with three king-size beds.Cabin needs some work on a shower leak upstairs, a hot. Tub leak, main floor bathroom has a running problem and two roaches appeared the last day. Otherwise we had a good stay. We enjoyed the scenery and hiking.

Charming house

We had a wonderful time in this house. With the pool, the hot tub, the BBQ, we enjoyed every square feet! We got the visit of a hairy guest every day the kids and the adults will always remember this place!

Family getaway

The cabin was perfect for our family. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which made it convenient. The location was not far from downtown Gatlinburg. You do have to watch for bears lurking around.

Overall good experience

House was good overall. Great location and quiet community. My two teens loved the hot tub and pool table, we played endless games of pool. The mattresses could be updated and some new pool cues would make it perfect.Thanks.

Siblings’ Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adventure Lodge! It was so perfect to everything we wanted to do, both in Gatlinburg and at the cabin! The hot tub was a welcome addition on the cold nights.Some things we did notice:Upstairs bathroom-the hot water in the shower never was hotter than lukewarm.Downstairs bathroom-plugs do not fit in tightly in the outlet by the sink; water continually running in toilet; door from game room to bathroom won’t stay shut, even when locked.We recommend this place to everyone and look forward to staying again!

Great family weekend. Expected crowds to be died down more but it was still fairly busy in gatlinburg. We really enjoyed the cabin. Nice and cozy. I did expect a bigger living room area from the pics but other than that it was just right!

Nice family get-together!

Very nice house, generally well equipped. There was not soap in all of the bathrooms and there was only one kitchen towel. We would have appreciated these items, especially for the cost but otherwise, had the amenities that we needed.

wonderful relaxing stay

We have used Black Bear before, and it's always always been excellent. This week was no exception. We had a real surprise about two days in. We were visited by about about a 200 pound mama bear and her two babies right on the back porch. they didn't see us and we didn't make any noise and they exited pretty quickly, but we have a memory that will last forever. We will definitely be back to the black bear cabins in the future. Great place for a family stay.

Gorgeous cabin!

This was a beautiful cabin. It was very clean and had wonderful amenities. The kitchen was well equipped and the deck was great. Checkin was very easy and we loved the location. We would definitely stay again.

Gatlinburg Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin - it was very convenient to everything! Rooms were nice and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Biggest complaint was the bear box was not effective at keeping bears out. We awoke one night to banging, and a huge bear had opened the bear box, taken the trash can out and there was garbage everywhere. I would not recommend putting garbage in it.

Celebrating 80th Birthday with gma, mom and kids

Property was very clean, easy to navigate , lot of room for 6 of us. Ideal that had a bedroom on lower level, entry level and then Upper loft. Steep driveway was a bit challenging for parking two cars but we made it work. Host was easy to communicate with and answered any and all questions quickly. Nice cabin.
