Our Stay

Overall, it’s was good! Needs better cleaning inspections, downstairs play area needs cleaned, porches and porch furniture need cleaned. Kitchen needs more attention with cookware. One bedroom upstairs is missing a remote. Fire pit image needs to be removed from listing. Would love to rent again, can’t beat the location! Just some helpful suggestions and true feedback!

Great place

This place was very nice. We did have an issue with the toilet leaking. This was resolved quickly. Loved this house. Great for multiple people. The place had everything it said it would.

Blue Spruce Stay

Overall it was nice. The listing indicates within walking distance to the street in Gatlinburg and it isn't. You can't really see the creek from the house and there is very little seating in the living room for 6 guests. The fireplace did not work and the heat was kind of weird, but the hot tub was nice and we saw some bear. There were a ton of fees that we didn't know about and it made the stay over budget so we won't use VRBO or Vacasa again due to that.

Wonderful home within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg

The home is amazing. The furniture and attention to detail are wonderful. The beds are extremely soft. It is about a half a mile from downtown Gatlinburg. There’s a babbling Creek right in front of the house that you can hear inside. Very relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. I cannot wait to come back.

Gatlinburg family vacation 2022

The location was great. Easy to walk to town but far enough away to be peaceful. The house was extremely well stocked with paper products, laundry and dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, etc. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking.

Disgustingly dirty!!!

Informed we could not check in on time due to cleaning running 2 hours behind. Arrived to dirty bed sheets, fresh pee stains on one bed, rugs were just as dirty. We spent our first night of vacation at the laundromat. We will not be staying with Vacasa properties in the future! I do not recommend this property!

Amazing Work Retreat

We had a work retreat for the upper management of our business and we can't say enough wonderful things about this amazing chalet and our stay. There was snow laying on the ground when we arrived so we felt like we were in our own little winter wonderland. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and hot tub and spent plenty of time in the living room together talking business but also has some R&R. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will rent this chalet again and 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for an amazing getaway.

Loved This Cabin!!!

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg, TN and everything was beautiful including "The Blue Cabin" as my kids called it. The process was very easy from booking to leaving.The home was very clean, cozy and although small, it felt big enough for my family of 5. It does get very hot upstairs when running the fire place and heater, but nothing that a cracked window won't fix! The balcony spaces, and porch was very relaxing. Didn't get a chance to try the hot tub, because it was too cold. The location is perfect. I don't know if I would walk into town, because it seems a little far to us, but maybe not to others. We can't wait to visit again.

Very Clean and Convenient Location

Cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was not as large as I had expected, but there were 6 of us and we had no problem with space at all. It was very convenient to town by walking (5-10 min) or car (2 min). We very much enjoyed the Blue Spruce and would definitely return!

Absolutely loved it!!!

This cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. We loved every amenity the cabin offered. Entertainment area under cabin, decks, fireplace, interior everything!!!! We just didn't have enough time to do all the things we wanted at the cabin and in town. Walking distance to town but felt like you were out in the woods. Very little traffic and we want to return and visit again. :) The only draw back was the rock floor in the shower is not comfortable to stand on. We'll be back.

Just what we needed

Our stay was relaxing and just what we needed. My only comment is that the walk to the strip is “do-able”…but it’s a long walk. We wound up driving everywhere.

Weekend getaway

House is new and clean. About a half mile walk down to the strip. Saw a black bear and her 3 cubs early evening crossing the street. If you are going to cook, bring everything you need besides pans and utensils. The grill is charcoal.

We had an amazing time!

The whole experience was great. The home was perfect for our little group. Town was a short walk away. Hiking back up the hill was a little exhausting after being out all day but thats a personal thing. We loved the bed so much we checked the brand and ordered one for ourselves! We had a close encounter with a Mama and her 3 bear cubs ubder the house but she quickly turned back and crossed the road into the woods with them. I wanted to see Bears and hours after checking in we got just that! Everyone in the area is just so kind, we loved the whole vibe! We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin is gorgeous. Decor wonderful. Family fun area beneath cabin was a hit. Corn Hole tournament held most nights. Walking distance to town is more like a hike to town. If mobility is an issue look a little closer. The creek beside the cabin was relaxing. Enjoyed mornings on the porch listening to it ramble on. Inside dining table is small. 6 adults would not fit but weather was nice so we ate take out dinner on back deck. Beds were very comfortable! Everyone slept well.

Great Experience

Had a wonderful stay in Gatlinburg in this fabulous property. Nothing negative to say about our stay. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Within walking distance to attractions. Even had a (safe) bear encounter. Highly recommend. One note: very difficult to get ride haring service in the area. Plan ahead.
