Beautiful House

The property was very nice. We loved the pool and hot tub. Only comment for improvement would be the grill should be replaced as it was very rusty and honestly didn’t look safe to use.

Excellent beach house location

House was awesome. Having a pool and hot tub was great at the end of the day after spending time at the beach which was a short walk. The house is well laid out and modern. Exactly as described. Will definitely rebook in the futyre.

Quick Get Away

Had a quick three day get away here. The property is great. The pillows on the master bed could be replaced. They’re pretty flat. Also, there were small gnats flying around. Other than that, it’s a great place.

Family Vacation

The property was awesome. The pool and spa were exactly as described. Plenty of pool towels and kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, cups, pots, casserole, etc. anything you would need to cook with. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire house and within walking distance to the beach.

Beautiful home but…

Beautiful home but property management is terrible. Could not lock the door from the inside or outside. Started calling Vacasa on Sunday morning. Called and text several times a day until Tuesday when I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Finally Tuesday evening a locksmith was sent. We left Wednesday morning. The listing and the welcome book mention beach towels- there are none to be found. There are lots of extra pillows but no pillow cases. 2 roll away beds with no linens. It’s a nice home in a nice neighborhood Just need attention to details and better response to the customer. Property manager mentioned some compensation for the issues that was never received.

Annual Family Vacation

Beautiful property with pool and easy access to beach. Well maintained with gourmet kitchen and extra ice machine…came in very handy. Kids bunk room was great. Overall…wonderful property…only suggestions…more towels wash/hand cloths…upstairs tub drain needed cleaning. Would book again.

Beautiful Home...Great Location...Some Disappointments

Home is beautiful, clean, great size for larger groups. Neighborhood is quiet and home is a short walk to beach. Our boys loved the bunk room. Couple issues we had: - Had to wait in our car after the 4pm check-in time for cleaning personnel to leave. - Television signal for network tv and streaming apps was spotty. Some days ok,...other days it would load/buffer every 15 seconds. - Pool is more like a hot tub. Might ask to see if water temp could be lowered for location that regularly reaches heat index of 110+. - Weren't able to find designated beach towels that were listed online (might consider bringing). - Random maintenance man showed up in middle of our lunch and spent roughly 2 hours trying to fix an icemaker (to no avail). We were told he was coming the morning of and that we could vacate house if needed. Wished this was scheduled during a transition period between bookings. Maintenance noises delayed/disrupted our kids nap schedule. Overall,...beautiful house in great location, but compared to our previous experiences with vrbo rentals, we were slightly disappointed at this price point.

The home was absolutely beautiful and clean! It was perfect for our family vacation! We especially enjoyed having the pool and hot tub right there! We appreciated how well stocked it was with basic necessities, dishes, towels, etc!

Great spot for couples and families

We stayed with our toddler, both of our parents, and siblings. Combination of bedrooms and bathrooms worked great for us. Pool was fantastic. Hot tub heated up quickly and pool was very clean! Home did not have a crib but we rented one from babyquip and the rooms were plenty big to accommodate it! The ONLY drawback was the distance from the center of town. About 15 minutes from the start of the main strip and 20 minute drive to the strand. We just planned those activities for full afternoons rather than multiple short trip. Highly recommend this property!

Absolutely impeccable

This is an absolutely gorgeous property – one of the very best that we have stayed in, and we are experienced VRBO’ers. We enjoyed it so much that we only went out to dinner one night during our stay, and stayed to use the kitchen and the downstairs grill the other nights. The house feels brand new - clean and very comfortable – everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed the fireplace and pool, and the hot tub was simply wonderful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, and would certainly stay again our next time in Galveston.

True to the pictures!!

What an amazing home! Very well kept, comfy, cozy and stocked. The house was super clean, beds were comfy, renovated bathrooms, cable, internet, a fully stocked kitchen. Our vacation was with family (8) for Labor Day weekend and we enjoyed ourselves very much even though it rained. Everyone had their own space which was what we were looking for. What you see in the pictures, is what you get!!! The spa and pool worked perfectly for us, the beach was at a 5 min walk, I mean, what not to love. The only negative was that there were an excessive amount of mosquitoes and flies outdoors, insect repellent is a must. Maybe doing a pest control before guests arrive would be good, or have some zappers available. I would also add dining furniture to the main balcony by the kitchen or downstairs near the pool, it would have been awesome to eat outdoors enjoying the view, minus the mosquitoes/flies, lol. Overall, highly recommend, we are planning to come back next year for sure.

End of Summer

Property was well maintained and kitchen stocked with all you need to cook. Pool area was nice - could use an umbrella as it does get direct sun all day. Only complaint is the trash. Apparently trash pick-up is only once a week on Mondays, so when we arrived on Thursday the trash smelled awful - was full of flies and maggots.

Nice Home

Pros: Beautiful home. Love all of the beds and arrangement. Also loved the pool. Great neighborhood. Cons: ants in the kitchen and master bath every day. Very annoying. Grill was filthy!!!!! We couldn’t get the televisions in Master and upstairs bedroom to work properly. Outside shower - scalding hot water!!! We could not use as we couldn’t get the water cool at all!!! Was very inconvenient especially with children.

Fun family spring break trip

Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach and not terribly far from the main pier (25 minutes). Having the pool and hot tub was perfect for our group with younger kids. We loved to explore the beach but with colder ocean water we spent most time in the pool. The hot tub instructions were easy to follow and at first we thought the other reviewers must not have been following them correctly. However, despite only turning on the hot tub when in use, it still somehow tripped and stopped working one day. Vacasa came out the next day and knew exactly how to reset the spa furnace to get it going again as they had done it before. We still used the pool and tub without the heater for that one day but it wasn’t quite as nice. It would be great if the system could be adjusted to not trip and require resets so frequently (or leave instructions on how to reset the furnace after the breaker trips). This is the only reason for 5 rather than 5 stars. We still really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The Kids Didn't Want to Leave

Our 10-person family needed an off-season place for a long overdue reunion. We found this beautiful, sparkling, clean house. Modern and cozy. Five minutes to the beach. And a heated pool and hot tub, which were warm enough three out of four days. The other day the heat suddenly and finally came on full blast. Looking at the other reviews, I think management just needs to sort out exactly how to get the hot tub to really kick in. The kids bedroom with the four bunk beds is amazing. We would come back to this place in a heartbeat if things lined up again. We also really appreciated the absence of cleaning chemical odors.
