Beautiful beach house

5/5 for the house, very clean, plenty of towels, right on the beach. 4/5 for the water. It was lukewarm for the majority of the stay. Informed the people in charge through VRBO. Each time someone different responded. Nothing was done with the water. Last night took an icy cold shower. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Beautiful beach house

Wry nice, spacious, and clean beach house! Lots of stairs, so be ready for your workout, but worth it when you get up to that view from the living room. Could not get in with the code I was sent, but the host was quick to fix the problem. Definitely recommend this property.

Family beach getaway

This house was great for our large extended family--fourteen people (the youngest is nine and the oldest are in their seventies) plus a little dog. There was plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. The location was great and beach access was very convenient. Highlights: plenty of pillows and blankets, lots of beach towels, easy parking, smooth check-in/check-out, great views, tons of seating for a large group.

Great but 1 thing

Awesome location. Great house for fam to enjoy vacay at beach. Direct beach access. No vehicle traffic allowed on beach made for a nice environment. Only caveat is downstairs bathroom tile is very slippery when wet. I would think owner may want change this for liability purposes.

Great beach house

This house is great for a family vacation. We had 6 adults. Everyone got there one room and it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Fantastic decks. Great for enjoying the ocean breezes and the local birds. The private beach was wonderful. Just a few steps from the back of the house. Lots of supplies and well cleaned.

Best beach trip ever!

Property was amazing with so much room, clean and comfortable. Steps away from the waves and beach was quiet and private. Location was still close to shops and attractions. We had a great family get together!

Beautiful beach getaway

Lovely Beach house, excellent location. Plenty of beds and spacious, open living area.However, several bedroom outlets were not working as well as several televisions. Overall, very pleased with the home and would definitely stay there again.

Great location!

Nice house, but was told the elevator wasn't for guest and after washing our first load of laundry we found out the dryer wasn't working. I called twice and was told someone would come out and look at it, but never did during our stay.

Great for large families!

There were 8 adults and 2 children (7 and 5) in our group and this house was a great fit. The entrance to the beach was safe and easy with multiple options to shower off before entering the house. Lots of stairs but we appreciated the exercise and large landings on each set. The kitchen was a bit small but we made it work for the short time we were there. Regardless, we will be back!

Great

Everything was great for the most part. Unfortunately I read the reviews and someone had mentioned wheelchair accessible because they have an elevator. However I didn’t know I had to reserve the elevator so my 80 year old mother had to walk up 6 flights of stairs several times. I asked if I could pay extra and have someone unlock the elevator and they informed me they could not. So my mother who just got over having half a lung removed and knee surgery had to suffer. I felt horrible considering it was for her birthday and this is what I put her through. I hope these people don’t have to take care of their elderly parents because God does not like ugly. Needless to say please make sure if you need the elevator put it on your reservation if you can find it since it wasn’t disclosed that you had to reserve and pay extra because I would have.

Great ocean front home for a family with pets!

This house is bright and airy with wonderful ocean views from inside the home, as well as from both decks. There was more than enough room for our family of 11 and our two dogs. Not everything in the house is new or in perfect condition, but it was clean and functional. The beach is away from the crowds but not far from anything we wanted to see or do. We all enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again!

No smoke alarms

The main issue we had was the elevator was not available for use, it was locked. Every single smoke alarm in the entire was detached, we found them in a cabinet. None of the outdoor outlets worked. The rooms were so full of furniture it was difficult to walk or find a spot for suitcases. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. There were 9 of us that stayed and we had enough beds, and couch space to hang out. It was right on a private beach which was perfect.

Wonderful Galveston Home

We loved our stay in this vacation rental. Everything was clean, beautiful interior furnishings and gorgeous view from the home. We will definitely rent this house again!
