Great cabin, views, and animal friends!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was completely clean and well-lit for our arrival. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay, including cooking meals in the kitchen and on the grill. The host was quick, friendly, and accommodating in response to all our inquiries. The cabin is cozy and has lots of character. We loved the view of the mountain from the back porch and spent plenty of time out there just relaxing with the scenery. We especially enjoyed meeting the horses and the mule, Minnie. The neighbor dogs roam free and are very sweet and friendly, but our senior dog, who we refer to as a grumpy old lady, was not interested in being friends, so that might be something to consider if you are planning to bring a dog that is not entirely dog-friendly. Short drives to Trenton, GA, Cloudland Canyon State Park, the wonderful Canyon Grill restaurant, and the Wilderness Outdoor (drive-in movie) Theater. The last bit of the drive to the cabin is on a gravel road. For us that added to the feeling of getting away from it all, but we are also used to driving on that kind of road and were in a 4x4 truck. We had a great stay and would look to stay here again if we return to the area.

Relaxing and Comfy!

The cabin was fantastic! We would definitely recommend it to family and friends traveling in this area. It was extremely clean. We had a great time sitting on the back deck watching the wild turkeys. We also enjoyed talking to the horses while we were on the deck. If you stay here, be sure to look at the stars at night! I haven’t seen that many stars in a long time. It was close to all of the attractions we wanted to see. Thanks for a very comfy and relaxing stay!

What a great place to relax

This is the perfect place to go to get away. Out in the country, relaxing, but close to everything. This is definitely a place we will be back to. Beau was a nice addition even though our dogs didn’t want to be friends lol. Close enough to Chattanooga to head in each day. My wife is already planning our next trip

Great Get Away From It All in Nature Place

Beautiful setting! Pristine historic log cabin but with all the modern conveniences, including reliable internet and TV. The cabin sits at the foot of a mountain ridge that provides an amazing view. We took our dog with us and walked the dirt/chert roads between farms in the area. The approach to the property does include about a mile of chert road to enter, but it was no problem, with the Interstate nearby and small towns with grocery stores and restaurants not far away. We loved it and definitely will return.

Weekend Ride

Cabin was beautiful inside & out. My husband & I went with another couple to ride our motorcycles around the area. The only downside was the mile of gravel road right before the cabin…not the best for motorcycles. So the only complaint is that everything else was amazing. Would stay again

Amazing cabin!

The cabin was lovely and incredibly comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful time grilling food, playing games, and relaxing. Plus there's a very friendly dog who we all greatly enjoyed petting!

Quick Spring Break trip

We called when we got to town and were allowed to check in a little early. Host was super sweet and helpful and said if we needed anything to call. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Extremely clean and comfortable. Jack welcomed us as soon as we got there and came to visit a few times while we were there, he will try to run in if the door is open but goes back out when you tell him to lol The views are beautiful.

We were very pleased with the cabin, location, view, & just overall everything! I definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to get away. And of course Jack(the dog) was soo sweet & friendly. The horses & ponies were beautiful to watch.

A home away from home

We were looking for a place to rest, and get away from all things. This cabin was more than we could of asked for. Beds comfortable, everything is very clean. Horses in the pasture greeted us daily which made for some happy kids! Jack the dog was a great new friend for my youngest. We absolutely loved the cabin.

Amazing Thanksgiving Getaway

This cabin was amazing! We enjoyed our stay so much. This was the first Thansgiving without my Grandparents and this cabin felt like home. The owners were so kind and accommodating. We hope to come stay every Thanksgiving. The mountains, horse, and dog Jack were an added bonus.
