My husband and I really enjoyed our visit and the house was very good for us. The house was clean. The yard was large,nice fire pit,the bay was right across the street. It was quiet (we only go off season). I explored Newport (45 min. drive) for 1 day and ate at the Red Parrot & visited the Breakers. Also explored New Bedford, the Whaling Museum and loved the harbor tour learning the history of the fishing industry. Lunch at the Black Whale was great. The salt marsh and beach at West Island was amazing and nearly deserted the first week of Oct. Anniversary dinner at Boca-very good. Kyler's fish market was the BEST and hubby cooked 2 wonderful meals. A fun dive bar, Bayside, was nearby and had good food and great local scene, we watched a Sox's v. Yankees game (we didn't say we were from NY!) Overall, we visit the Cape nearly every Oct, but had never visited Buzzard Bay, Fairhaven or New Bedford. We loved it. Can't wait to return and would rent this house again.

It was very kid friendly, with lots of toys and games to play with! We also loved the beach area and how close it was to the house!It may be time to get new mattresses! They were very uncomfortable!Overall, we enjoyed our stay!!

The cottage is very nicely decorated. We had difficulty with the queen size bed, it’s in a VERY narrow space so not easy to maneuver. Just a note that the bathroom is very small. No room to put your things. Otherwise it worked for our trip.
